family event

hey guys! i love doing the stories when y/n and ruel are raising a baby so i might do more like these

y/n's POV
ruel and i were in australia for a bit. his family had planned a little get-together for everyone to see each other again. ever since our baby, lilian was born 6 months ago we haven't seen his family because we've been in america.

i sat on the bed of ruel's bedroom looking on my phone. i felt a kiss on my shoulder and looked back at ruel.

"morning" i said to him smiling. "goodmorning love" he said back to me. "she's still asleep and its 9" he said shocked looking at the baby asleep. "it's a rare sighting" i said smiling at her.

someone knocked on the door and i got up to answer it. "breakfast is ready" kate told us. "surprisingly she's still sleeping" i pointed behind me and she walked over to the bed to look at lilian. "what an angel" she said looking at the baby.

"breakfast is downstairs when you want some" she let us know before leaving the room. "you can go eat and i'll stay in case she wakes up" ruel offered.

i went downstairs and made myself a cup of coffee. "sleep well last night?" ralph asked me. "yeah. we fell asleep a little late but she slept the whole night" i answered him. "that's not bad for a 6 month old" he chuckled.

i drank my coffee and talked a little more with his parents. "look who's up" ruel came downstairs holding lilian. he came over to me and handed her over. i kissed her on her head and held her in my arms.

"i'll feed her but you're getting her ready" i pointed at him. "fair enough" he sat down and ate some breakfast.

i gave her to ruel to sit on his lap while i fed her baby cereal. she ate it all and i cleaned her up.

"she's all ready for you" i gave her back to ruel for him to get her changed and ready.

he dressed her in a cute onesie and shorts with a bow in her hair. he came back with her as she chewed on a teething toy.

he set her on the floor and sat on the floor with her. she crawled a little bit but mainly layed on her back.

people started coming over to the house so he picked her up and held her as people came to see her. people even came with gifts for her.

she started being handed over to different family members of his. she started fussing so she was given back to me. i breastfed her on the couch while everyone was outside.

"hey dear. came to check up on you" kate said as she sat next to me. "she was just hungry and it's time for a nap" I told her.

"you two are such good parents especially having a baby at 17 years old. i am amazed by your parenting" she said to me. "it's definitely not easy so it means the world for you to say that" i smiled at her.

ruel came over to me with a plate of food. "thought you might be hungry" he said. i ate the food he gave me as the baby ate too.

"i love you so much babe. i'm blessed to parent with you especially to lily" he said. "i love you" i leaned my head on him.
