"We're going to the lake" Jin smiled as a response for the curious Taehyung in front of him, eyes scanning the packed food. "We'll play a little and leave this house to enjoy fresh air. Also a chance for us to string our relations together, isn't it?"
"Brilliant as always, my baby" Namjoon kissed his husband's cheek, back hugging him tightly.
"I'm not going if Jungkook will go" came a sweet yet annoyed voice from the living room, followed by footsteps and then a restless Jimin appeared next to the kitchen's door - black bags highlighting his mesmerizing almond shaped eyes, brown hair measly splattered on his face, still in short pyjamas. "You both are going there. No complains"
Jimin felt horrible on many levels, in many ways, he felt like a burden, like his dream isn't useful anymore. He won't care about the monsters if he'll live like this, in endless pain, hiding in a nest miserably.
Most importantly; a part he denied–
Is that he needs Jungkook.
Jin's strict tone ended it all, and the boys were now at the lake, on the grass eating sandwiches, Yoongi the only one who sneaked a bottle of vodka and was hungrily gulping it down. He wrapped his arm around Jungkook who still seemed as lifeless as ever.
"Let's go swim, shall we?"
Its surface was blue and clear that the boys can see their reflection on it, and it encouraged them to go in the cold refreshing water, and it was as clean as it looked.
"I can't swim, so I'll stay right here" Jimin mumbled, sight drawn deeply to the azure sky atop his head, remembering how Jungkook told him before that he will teach him how to swim. Jungkook who was now forcefully drenched into the glazed water by Yoongi, causing a loud splash, reappearing right after with his white shirt tracing perfect abs and black pants tracing thick thighs.
A sudden sting in Jimin's arm made him flinch before noticing a mosquito, and he sighed in a very done exhaustion to see he got bitten by it, by such a small creature. Taehyung, who was next to him, noticed it and directly got a bottle out of the freezer and placed it on the now swollen skin.
"Gosh, Tae, stop" Jimin mumbled in annoyance, the last thing he needed was this. Jungkook got out of the lake right away and rushed to see what it was before calming down, he has been so worried and conflicted lately, whatsoever hidden under an emotionless mask...
"Is everything fine, Jimin-"
"You're the last one to ask me if everything is fine! Fuck you!" Jimin didn't know what had taken over him, but it was intense and unstoppable, that even the instant melancholy on Jungkook's face didn't restrain him. He pinned Taehyung to the ground, kissing him deeply while the other was watching.
The blonde knew his bestfriend intended on something, so he acted along and kissed back.
"I already replaced you, and don't wish to ever see you again. I hate you"
It flowed out so naturally and truthfully and it didn't seem like a lie at all. Jungkook wiped his tears quickly, pain washing his heart as he walked away, collecting the rest of his dignity.
