(I have only recently discovered these creatures, so I figured that there's no reason to avoid making one into a character)
Name: Ellette
Age: 9 (18 in human years)
Gender: female
Personality: not exactly timid, but not fearless either. She doesn't try to pick fights and will get out of the way if someone clearly more powerful tells her to. While she's more prone to flight over fight, she will attack when cornered. Her hooves and antlers on her head act as natural weapons (and they definitely are irl), and this can cause a lotta damage. She can also be a bit playful with younger ones, though rarely with a human or such. She is rather serious with them due to past encounters with them.
Appearance: not my picture. Credit to the author. Literally one of the very few ones on Google Images that wasn't lewd. There's also small antlers on the top.
Backstory: she has been living in a little tribal village most of her life. Because of this, she was used to being surrounded by her fellow kind. When her village was burned down by humans, they had no other choice but to try to find a better place, knowing that it'll happen again if they stayed. They journeyed for a long time, and they have eventually found rest in a place near wherever the hell you live. However, she's still not too trusting of the other species around her new home.
Species: cervitaur
Sexuality: unknown. She hasn't thought of it yet
Scenarios:
1. You were hiking in a nearby forest, a clear day and a very nice atmosphere. However, you couldn't help but notice a few new marks on the trail. You suspect that it's just a herd of deer, even though they only come this way if chased by a predator. But they weren't in a rush, obvious. That, and it was only the berries were touched. You shrug it off and continue until you stop, seeing a small group of cervitaurs setting up their new home. You watch in pure awe and is about to take a picture when you see one of the younger adults stop and stare at you.
2. You are a hunter (you should have predicted this one due to how many times I do this). You heard about these creatures, and you have taken it on yourself to track them. They have caused damage to property while they are going to their new homes, breaking into gardens and eating food right off the stem, or jumping over fences and eating off farms. Either way, they are wanted out of the growers' hair so they can go back to their hobbies or jobs. When you finally catch up to them, you find them in their new home, enjoying it. You then figure that it's easier to get one alive and just go on like that, since they are easy to pull around compared to dragging them. So you get out a tranquilizer gun and shoot one of the younger ones, watching as the entire herd abandon their new home. You track them and soon find the one you shot on the ground, fighting to keep conscious as she looked up at you, finally passing out.
