"Ah. Have you tried open communication with them? Sometimes it's easier to get feelings across that way. If there's more comfort, they will be less likely to reject you. But consider everything. Maybe they just aren't romantically interested. There's nothing wrong with it. I'm sure you're a great person with great capabilities."

"Really? You think so? Not many people have hope that I'll be in a relationship. Maybe that's why I'm trying so hard."

"Love because you want to. Not because you're trying to prove a point. Love is about trust, communication, loyalty, and foundation."

"Wow. I see why you're so highly recommended. It was a pleasure Miss Rejection."

"The pleasure is all mine. Have a good day."

I hung up the phone and tossed in on the couch beside me.

Lately, to distract myself from all the Woojae and Eunjae drama, I've really dived back into the hotline. After the interview, calls had died down for a while. I barely got any.

But then when Valentine's Day happened, I got yet another flood of heartbroken hopefuls. And now I had a steady string of hopefuls trying to call someone they thought they hit it off with.

The hotline was a great stress reliever for me. If I could fix other people's problems, it made me feel competent at something. Since I was so incapable of dealing with my own, if I could help someone else, at least I wasn't totally pathetic.

There was a soft knock at my front door which pulled me from my thoughts.

I gasped, "Taehyung!"

I quickly opened the door to find my tall, handsome, and very alluring boyfriend giving me a suave glance.

He met my lips in a heated fervor, his body and lips instantly melding with mine.

I smiled into the kiss, giggling softly as Taehyung teased me from behind with his slender hands.

There was a buzz in between our lips that seemed to ripple through my whole body, creating waves of pleasure. He tasted so sweet. The feeling of his hair in my hands and his lips on mine, it was pure bliss.

"Tae...my makeup is gonna get ruined if we keep doing this," I teased.

He smirked, "Alright then. Let's finish our date and then I can really ruin your makeup."

I intertwined my fingers with his, pecking his cheek softly before the two of us headed out for a night in the town.

We really wanted to dedicate this night for being about the both of us. No kids, no looming dread, none of it. Tonight, we were just two people in their mid-twenties on a date.

From all the Woojae drama, to my uncertainty about Eunjae and Taehyung's relationship, we just needed a night to get away from all of it.

The two of us walked in a comfortable silence, swinging our arms back and forth as we looked on at the cityscape.

After a short walk, we arrived at the restaurant we booked a reservation for.

"Under Kim Taehyung," Taehyung spoke confidently.

He flashed me a sweet smile, making my heart melt by how cute he was. God, I was so madly in love with him.

We sat at our table which was a little secluded and romantic one away from everyone else.

The two of us sat across from each other, immediately picking up the menu to decide food. Surprisingly, the biggest stability in our relationship was our joint love for food.
