Waves and waves of jealousy crashed down upon him.

Everyday he would go to the place where Poppy and Branch would meet. Hair, he didn't even care if the Snack Pack was in the literal next bush snapping pictures on weekends. He just watched, his jaw locked, his fist clenched, as their playful banter only increased. And one thing about that that just set him off.

That troll was grey.

Seriously, Poppy could meet that grey troll everyday but she couldn't for me? What'd that grey troll have that the amazing Creek didn't? He thought to himself one day, almost yelling it out loud but keeping his mouth shut to spare his life. He needed a successful plan. He traced the source. Branch. Branch would have to go for Poppy to be his. Creek laughed evilly as he watched their banter, which to him was already a bore.

Creek knew he had to do something.

Over the next few days, he secretly crossed the border while our favourite two trolls were talking. He observed Branch's movements, seeing what he did on an everyday basis. He saw how he would take Gary everywhere, talk to him while collecting sticks, set traps, and then go to meet the pack. Once he figured out the weird pattern, he knew exactly what to do next.

To turn Branch's strength, into his weakness.

It was a Saturday, just like any other day. Poppy had really never taken note of what day it was, but now that she was meeting Branch every weekend, she had been taking her calendar seriously for once and ticked off the days that passed, and noted if she needed to meet the Snack Pack to see Branch. But since it was a Saturday, it meant they got some alone time.

"Yeeeeeeee I wonder what board game Branch is gonna bring today! Or maybe we'll start to finally build a new playground! Ooh, or maybe we'll just talk all day while eating all the cupcakes I'm surprising him with. I wonder if he'll like it." Poppy walked through the village, a skip in her step as she greeted the passing trolls. "Hey Smidge! Hey Fuzzbert, hey Skyscraper troll, ooh, hi Legsly! Good leg stretch! Bet you'll reach the sun in no time!"

Then it came, and Poppy squealed and rushed back into the castle immediately. Trolls around her got confused, but they shrugged it off thinking that she had another crazy idea that she would share never because it was always a surprise.

But what it was, was the force's tugs. It meant Branch was waiting for her at the border, and she would come soon. He knew Poppy was excited, but didn't know what about. It was a normal hangout after all.

"Gary, what's taking her so long? It's already half an hour. Figured she'd come right about now."

"HI BRANCHIE!"

"AHHH!" Branch yelped, being the scaredy little cutie he is, then remembered what she said.

"Awwww little Branchie is scared." Poppy gushed, squishing her cheeks and making a cute face.

Branch blushed at the nickname, but pretended he was annoyed. Poppy took the blush as him being embarrassed, and proceeded to laugh at it.

"Don't call me that again it's so embarrassing."

"B-But it's cuteeee!" Poppy made a cute face, which made him internally want to take a picture to keep it in his bunker, but he shook that thought away.

Poppy was friends with him, and to him that was enough.

"Click! Click! Click!" Went the camera silently as Guy Diamond squealed. "So. Much. Broppy!!!" He quickly saved the picture moment as he got ready for another one. Smidge and Biggie were giving excuses to the disappearance of the princess, and DJ had agreed to tag along, but she was so bored of waiting that...
