It had been around 1 week since Poppy met Branch and Gary, and they had decided to meet in real life more often. That was quite hard for Poppy, as the Snack Pack always knew what she was up to, and to hide it wasn't really a thing that friends did to each other, was it?

Branch was really starting to rub off of Poppy. She was more practical in implementing new things, putting safety of all things in front of fun. Many trolls found that confusing, but still respected her and let it slide anyways. However, this did not go unchallenged by the Snack Pack, who noticed Poppy's odd and more serious behaviour.

"Hey Poppy, wanna go play squishball later?" DJ Suki, Poppy's best friend, asked her. Poppy, her head buried in all the paperwork, and stressed from all the complaints she got, turned her head sharply and muttered, "Im busy Suki, maybe next time. I'm sorry, im just so stressed out from all this paperwork!"

DJ, being completely shocked at the change of behaviour, but still understanding her, nodded with her mouth agape, then ran off to tell the others.

Poppy sighed, as she turned back to the paperwork.

"Guys! Poppy actually rejected playing with us!" DJ ran towards the Snack Pack, yelling at the top of her lungs. They were at their secret meeting spot, where they used to play all sorts of games. The Snack Pack looked at each other worriedly; Poppy was really changing. She normally put friends in front of anything!

A moment of awkward silence.

Then panic ensued.

"Why won't she come hang out with us? She said she would go for hair training with me!" Smidge complained.

"Poppy can't see our new clothes? Noooo!" The fashion twins yelled in despair.

"Oh Mr Dinkles, she's really freaking me out! Aren't you?" Biggie hugged Mr Dinkles tightly, and he only "mew"ed in return.

"Poppy can't play with us! HEHEHEHE!" Cooper laughed, causing everyone else to look at him weird.

DJ calmed everyone down, with Guy Diamond by her side, but his autotune voice really didn't help much. But soon enough everyone was tired of complaining and wailing in despair, and decided they wanted the old Poppy back.

And they were willing to do anything to get there.

Meanwhile, with Branch, he was still collecting berries, but he was trying not to get bored. Toying with Gary, he pressed a button and launched himself into the air, landing on the highest tree, then used his hair to create a parachute down to the ground, picking berries on the way.

"Phew! Gary, that was nice, wasn't it?" The gray troll looked at his son and said. Poppy was really affecting him, in a good way. He now subconsciously takes a board game to play every now and then in his bunker, which if I may add, is more important of a milestone to him than you think. The board game was given to him by Poppy. And also because it was interesting and needed thinking which he absolutely loved.

And he wouldn't have it any other way now.

Poppy sat there slumped against the table, completely exhausted. She had been working all day just to make sure she could hang out all day with the Snack Pack tomorrow, and maybe she would find Branch afterwards. She hoped they didn't find out what she was up to, she wanted to surprise them. "Ooh I can't wait to tell them I made time for them the whole day tomorrow!" She looked at the cards she had made for them, each filled with glitter of their favorite colour. Her mind wandered over to Branch. He could use a good card! Her face lit up at the great idea, and she silently high-fived herself for it as she started cutting.
