Sunday

The doorbell rang. Astrid, no, Natasha ran to open it, smiling at an exhausted Magnus, who was holding an ice pack to his shoulder.

"Hey, Astrid," he greeted. "You're up early."

"Ha!" Natasha snorted. "I wish my body wasn't so adamant on being an early bird. You have to wake up early, even when it feels like you've been up all night." She eyed the walls with disinterest, internally glaring at me. "You look like you've slept well."

He winced. "Nice use of sarcasm there."

"Thanks! I have absolutely no idea why I'm so tired, but it's definitely not Arista's fault." She smirked, crossing her arms.

Kyle bit back a smile. Natasha flashed him a charming grin. "Anyway, Arista isn't available, so try finding her tomorrow. Also, can you do me a favor and let me talk to Jamie?"

"He's actually-"

"Thanks!" Natasha beamed, blinking back at him.

Is this how she gets boys to do her bidding? I sighed.

By smiling and asking them nicely? Yeah. Lyla replied with another sigh.

"I can hear you two, y'know? Anyways, Magnus, please?" She asked again.

Sighing, Kyle closed his eyes, his eyebrows furrowing in concentration. When his eyes opened, there was a glimmer of mischief in them. A smirk appeared on his face as he held his hand towards Natasha.

"You up for creative class? And whoa, I just got hit by a ton of bricks." Jamie groaned, rubbing his head.

"Lyla," Natasha sang. "You don't mind me borrowing your art skills, right?"

She does this all the time, Lyla grumbled. After realizing that Jamie likes to doodle.

The Tabloid vibrated on the table. Natasha daintily picked it up, slinging the bag of art supplies over her shoulder. She took one last look at the mirror, admiring her look for today before leaving the room.

"Seriously, why can't you guys dress more fashionably? Every single time I phase, it's either baggy shirts or black hoodies and yoga pants." She whined, doing another pose in front of the mirror. Unlike us, she had taken the time to brush her hair, holding it back with a pink headband. The silky blue dress flounced to her knees, finished by a pair of silver heels. A thick blue ribbon was wrapped around her petite waist, the sides encrusted with swirling stars. The translucent blue sleeves ended at her elbows, and the fabric shimmered under the light.

You're talking to Layla today, right? I asked Lyla.

Yeah, she's the closest person here who can help me. If anyone can rig the serums, it's her. I'll probably find her after Physical Training.

I need to find Rebecca later. See if you can pass the message to Kyle. My thoughts drifted back to Natasha's overly fashionable dress. And Natasha, please change out of that atrocious outfit. I highly doubt that I can run in heels.

"No, no, no!" Natasha whispered furiously. "You are not changing out of this amazing outfit! I forbid you to do so!"

Fine, Lyla groaned. Just help us write a message to Rebecca so she can help us out.

"Deal!" Natasha grinned. "All of you are not allowed to change out of this dress for the entire day, even if you plan on sneaking out or jumping off random buildings."

I wondered if anyone found it weird that Astrid had three distinct fashion styles. However, we weren't the only ones with weird habits like these. For example, Magnus would alternate between the most social to the quietest person in the group. Valerie would go from nice to downright mean, thanks to Lauren.
