Chapter 17

Few seconds later...

Moonari hit the ground hard from the explosion and skid a few feet. She pushed herself up with a painful groan and looked over at him. "Ow....Ugh. That's him. That's the guy I saw." She informed the other two.

Artemis groans as she tries to push herself up onto her feet from where she was flung too. "Well that hurt, but now he will have to face us." She simply growls trying to stay strong.

Harm continues to walk forward, "The 'its' will not face Harm." He sternly comments without a waver in his voice, and the flames dancing behind him.

Artemis finally pushes herself onto her knees and draws aim with her bow and arrow. "Not facing you isn't on the menu." She growls before letting go of her arrow, firing it at the man.

Harm chuckles, drawing his sword to reflect the arrows, "Arrows do not impress Harm." He quotes.

"That's a strange way to speak. And you're name is 'Harm'? Did you're parents not give you a happy childhood or something?" Zatanna asked and raised an eyebrow.

Moonari backed up. "The one time I wish I had powers instead of wings." She whispered nervously, scared of him due to her phobia of men. She shook her head. "Now is not the time for that." She added to herself afterward while shaking her head.

Harm speaks in his cryptic voice, "Harm is simply Harm. I am alone, but surrounded. Looking for challenges who prove to be nothing." He quotes aiming his sword out forward towards the three girls.

Artemis grits her teeth and glares at the guy called 'Harm' before her. She was thinking over in her mind a way to beat him up, a perfect opportunity to take out her emotions. That's when she notices Moonari. "Just remember to breath Silverfeather." She simply mentions in a sort of supportive tone.

"I'm fine Artemis. Thanks." Moonari smiled back before she quickly spread her wings and took off into the air, not even realizing that she ended up launching stiff feathers at Harm.

Zatanna noticed the sword he was holding was one of mystical energy. "That sword.....be careful of it! Only those of pure heart can use it's power." She warned.

Harm gazes towards Zatanna and smirks, "I see you know your knowledge of magic girl." He quotes before quickly deflecting the stiff feathers that were heading his way using the sword. "And you, flying girl, a hawkwoman protege. And you two 'its'. Your rudiments tempers and personality indicate instruction from Green Arrow and Zatara. Harm likes this, Harm will study you three to learns methods for killing their mentors, Zatara, Green Arrow and Hawkwomen." He smugly comments, fire still ravaging around him as he points his sword forward again.

"You leave my dad alone!" Zatanna exclaimed and attacked him with her magic in order to protect her father.

Moonari huffed. "And I don't even know who Hawkwoman is!" She exclaimed balling her hands into fists.

Harm notices his sword rattle in his hand and smirks. "It wants Harms sword... very well" And with that he thrusts it towards Zatanna in an attacking motive. "Here."

Artemis growls as she starts running towards the side. "Big mistake, Harmster." She growls mentioning nothing off her mentor through as everyone believes him to be her uncle, not someone who offered to take her in under her mother's request. She draws another arrow against her bow and releases it, sending it flying towards Harm.

Harm simply jumps in the air, catching them and sending them into the opposite direction, back towards Artemis.

Moonari dives down and tackles Artemis out of the way so she wasn't hit by her own arrow. She stood back up and glared at Harm. "You do not hurt my friends!" she exclaimed and flew toward him as fast as her wings could carry her.
