Standing there looking at my wedding dress, it was tonight and damn I do not know if I am more nervous or excited. After last night's events, the whole pack has come by at certain times to make sure I am okay.

They all took it to heart that their soon to be Aloha female and a member to their family was almost taken or killed. I was in my old bedroom or well the one I was to stay in while I got to know Derek but since I never did it was another spare that we might end up making it into a nursery, depending on how many pups I am having.

There was a knock at the door, since Derek knew my dress was in here, he was not allowed to even peek open the door. "Lori, the caterers here and I need your help love to make sure they are setting everything up where you want it. he sounded so lost.

All I could do was smile at how he sounded, my big bad alpha mate was lost when it came to where to put the food, I let out a small giggle I did not want him storming in here acting all macho.

"I will be right down sweetheart" I called out, putting the dress back on the door making sure it was still in the bag sealed up. Taking a deep breath, I opened the door a crack and saw him standing by the stairs, so I could slip out without having him look even remotely into that room. I am not one for superstitions but right now I am, I want everything to go perfect tonight. Walking down the stairs, Derek takes me to where the caterers are at waiting for directions.

Smiling at the two older women, "hi, I'm Lori and I will be showing you where everything is to be set up" the women seemed to be relieved with that one and I really do not blame them, Derek can be intimidating especially when he is frustrated.

We went out to the barn that was being transformed into the reception area, since it can hold over three hundred people and the pack is about a hundred so there will be plenty of space for the tables and food area. I was absolutely amazed that within one day a musty old barn that held junk everywhere was now clean and full of lights and flowers. I had the women set up over on the side since they needed about five square tables to hold all the food and serving trays, and the plates and silverware.

They guests could sit where they choose to, I was not going to be fussy and set up designated spots. Once the women were content with everything that I wanted, they went about their duties while I just wandered around looking at everything, it was going to be a dream come true, even though growing up I could not afford the luxury of a wedding since I was always told not to expect much since I was not anything special.

I smiled to myself thinking how the tides have turned, I am the alpha female and marring an alpha who has his own business plus side is he is damn good looking, I turned to see Derek smiling at me with that twinkle in his eye. He walked up to me, and my insides automatically turn to mush.

"So, you think I am good looking huh?" he asked as he wrapped his arms around me, "damn I forgot to mute the link" I said laughing, I did not care that he heard my thoughts, I liked it since I knew he was always around one way or another.

"Just think sweetheart, in six more hours we are going to be husband and wife, and in ten hours we will be mated under the full moon." Derek whispered in my ear, which sent shivers down my spine. I could not wait for to be his wife and mate fully. My stomach decided it was time to eat, and right on cue Derek laughed and took my hand, "come on sweetheart, I will fix you lunch before Trisha and the rest of the girls come over and whisk you away for the day."

He was such a wonderful man, we walked into the kitchen and there was the group he spoke about just moments ago. "Derek is going to fix me lunch than we can go get me ready for the wedding," I said as I sat down before anyone could say anything. No one said a word they just all sat down and started to talk amongst themselves while Derek fixed me a few sandwiches and an iced tea smiling the whole time. No one ever spoke to the women like that until now and they were unsure of how to respond except for Trisha she just winked at me and smiled.

Once lunch was done the women surrounded her, "now you know Derek that you may not see your mate again until she is walking down the aisle," Trisha said matter of fact, she would not under normal circumstances talk to her alpha that way, but he knew where her heart was at. "Don't worry I know the rules, even if I had to look them up online to understand what Lori was talking about, I already plan on giving you women the house today to do what needs to be done, I am going over to Toms house for the day."

He said as he kissed me, pulling back he smiled and whispered, "can't wait till our wedding night where I get to ravish you until you scream my name over and over," with that he smiled and left the kitchen. I heard the door shut and let out a shaky breath.

"That was so not fair" I shouted; the women all laughed. We went upstairs so they could start with the getting ready, I have never had a bath where three women scrubbed and washed my body before, it was strange, but I guess I have never been pampered before. Standing there in my robe, waiting for them to tell me what was next.

Trisha walked up to me smiling, "I think a nice simple hairdo will be perfect with the veil attached to the back and some baby's breath intermixed into your hair" she said as she guided me to the chair. "I am leaving my makeup and hair in your capable hands" I said smiling, and I meant it these women were wonderful and my wolf was content and sleeping while I was being pampered.

Once done she turned the chair around. I could not believe my eyes, my hair looked amazing with the baby's breath intertwined throughout my hair. Next was makeup, after a while I was done and I had no words, Smokey eye makeup with liner but it was not too dark to where I looked like a racoon, it was there but subtle, and light blush on my cheekbones, and a hint of nude lipstick with gloss that make my lips shimmer with gold flakes in it. It was perfect.

I sat there looking at everything these wonderful women have done, I was speechless. "Don't you dare tear up and ruin the makeup," they teased. I was trying hard not to cry no one ever did anything this nice for me ever and it took a bit of fanning my eyes so they would not start the water works.

"Okay Lori, it is time to get the dress on" Trisha said bringing in the bag with my dress in it. I looked at the time and noticed it was already four p.m. where has the time gone so fast. I stood up and unzipped the bag, right there was my dress, I took it out of the bag and Trisha helped me get into it and zipped up the side.

I loved how the zipper was hidden in the dress. Once everything was on and set, I stood there for a moment and looked at myself in the mirror, I could not believe my eyes, that person in the reflection was me. My wolf peered out through my eyes, and she smiled in my mind. I took a deep breath and nodded to Trisha letting her know I was ready. We walked down the stairs and before the back doors opened for me to walk to my mate, I took a moment to steady myself.

"You are going to be fine my dear, that man loves you and so does his wolf, the goddess herself blessed you both." she said as she opened the doors. Out I stepped onto the porch and saw a bit away that Derek was standing there looking around.

I could tell he was nervous as I was, but as I started walking towards my mate our eyes locked onto each other and that was all it took. I walked up to Derek, and he stood there smiling down at me, this was it this was the moment I have been waiting for my entire life even before I knew what was going to happen.

The goddess herself already made sure I was going to be taken care of and belong to the right man who would love me and treat me the way I was supposed to be treated. I was beyond a doubt in love with this man who was about to be my husband and in a few more hours in front of the goddess herself we were going to be mated as wolves until the end of time and I could not wait.
