Making our way through traffic Sean decided to spill the tea about the latest hot couple of Cali. While he was there babbling, my mind wondered off to Chocolate. Not the dessert but those chocolate eyes and the way he said 'Good evening babygirl'.
I didn't even realize I was home until Sean honked the horn repeatedly, 'What's all the noise about?' I tried to sound annoyed but it was evident that my mind was elsewhere due to the beads of sweat rolling down my forehead.
I hurriedly exited the vehicle and told him I'd call him later before he could even resist. Completely forgetting that I should call Kay I entered my apartment and went straight into my bedroom. Discarding my clothes I dialed her number, it rang and went to voicemail. So I decided to try her landline, lucky enough I got her on the last ring. 'Are you ok Kay?.. I could hear her sniffling on the other line. All she said was 'I'm coming over' then she disconnected the call.
Kay arrived with her travelling bag, a jug of ice cream a bottle of Brandy and a bottle of Gin. If I wasn't worried then, I definitely was worried now cause I have never seen her go for Brandy and Gin at the same time. I made way for her on my couch as I called her over. Immediately the tears began falling and I repeated what she stated earlier 'Who do I have to kill cause someone pissed off my bestfriend" I barely got a smirk from her but it was worth it.
