Many things have changed but I can still find myself the way I used to be.
I’ve changed since that incident happened.
They’re all moving forward. And I’m still here, alone, feet glued on the floor, waiting for something to happen. For someone to come back.
They always tell me that it’s okay to feel the pain. That it was normal. But all I can feel was nothing. Like how my mind tells me that there’s nothing I can do to make his life come back. To make him come back.
People around me tend to live in the present and to look forward to the future, while me? I’m still living in the past, can’t find a way to get out from my own misery.
I think I’m selfish for making myself forget about what happened back then. But it was what I want. I want to be free from pain. I want to forget the past and accept what the future has to offer.
“Memory is brutal. It makes you torture yourself by reminding you about those scenes--you want to get over with—over and over again. But that’s what makes me feel alive.”
“Moving on is a hard process for a person who tend to have a lot of memories. That’s why I’m erasing mine.”
I wish I could turn back the time and change what had happened. I wish there’s still a chance. A chance for a change. A chance for us.
I aim to change the present for life will be better in the future.
Two hearts whose living and in the process of forgetting the past.
And in the process of forgetting and waiting for the future.
Will the time prevail them to create a new beginning?
Or it will be a hindrance for them to fall in love again?
Will the sequence of events change when these two collide?
…Especially when the other one is not just an ordinary mortal?
