"New photography club members, that we have!" Shannon squealed a bit sharply.
"Finally!" Tom called out as he looks over at the sheet, that was posted up, on the wall as Shannon grabbed it.
"You're gonna need a bigger darkroom." Mr. Jeffries stated calmly as he looked at the sheet on the board and Sierra sighed, when she noticed a certain oddness to the names.
"What?" Tom asked, as if confused by what it is exactly that he was saying to them all.
"Well, apparently, the Incredible Hulk, is taking up photography, along with Superman, and that is some awful handwriting from this school at large." Mr. Jeffries narrowed his eyes as he struggled to read it quickly.
"We're gonna get new members." It was Maddy who spoke up this time as Sierra began using her much focused and enhanced hearing now, to try and learn who did this.
"Look, I'm glad that you all have passions. But it does not entitle you to have a room on school premises to use as your own private den. You have until tomorrow morning to find three new members or I'm closin' you down." Mr Jeffries stated as he walked away after a student who was now all running down the hallway.
"Jimi." Sierra murmured under her breath, as she listened to the boys all laughing at her.
"How'd you work that one out?" It was Shannon who asked and Sierra nearly spit out the water that she had taken a sip of.
Luckily, Maddy quickly came to her rescue as she grabbed the sheet back from Shannon's hands. "Who else has got such bad handwriting? Come on."
Maddy quickly spoke up and Sierra gave her a clear look that was grateful beyond belief.
Maddy nodded quickly at her, as they all went to get to class, but Maddy and Sierra both stopped.
"We'll catch up to you." Sierra says as she recognized the scent of another of their kind.
"Wolfblood." Maddy whispered so that only they could hear, as she ran off through the hallway as quickly as she could without actually running.
The pair found their way to class where a new student was now being introduced and treated horribly.
"This is Rhydian Morris." Mr. Jeffries explained and immediately Jimi starts with the taunts about how Rhydian is a Welsh name and so on.
Until Maddy had to open her relatively small mouth usually to make it all worse by accident. "You smell like my parents." She said without thinking and Sierra looked at her with a furious glare, but it was too late as Rhydian looked furious as well.
After class, Maddy confronted Rhydian while Sierra stayed back to watch from a relatively safe distance while she watched it unfold.
"Smelly?!" Maddy hissed under her breath to Shannon and Tom, who look at Sierra, who just looked amused at her.
"Maddy, you did kind of start it." Tom mumbled. "You two missed out on the most important question as per usual, does he play football?" Tom asked and Sierra had to laugh at that quickly.
"He didn't say that you couldn't ask him." Shannon pointed out to Tom as Jimi had walked quick away from all of them, at that point.
"Good point." Tom stood up as he placed his fork in his food and stood up.
"No, Tom, don't." Maddy began and Sierra began to agree, but Shannon, her arms were restraining both of the girls now.
"Come on Mads, Si, he won't bite." She said as Maddy and Sierra exchanged a look of horror at the thought.
"I wouldn't count on that." Maddy mumbled as they both watch in a bit of a fearful silence, as Tom walked to Rhydian's table.
"Wow, that's brilliant! You're really good, you know." Tom began his idea to recruit Rhydian, by complimenting his drawing.
"What do you want?" Rhydian asked as he continues to draw, his eyes fixed on the page in front of him.
"Just wanted to know if you like football." Tom offers to Rhydian, who calmly picks up another pencil and he sighed.
"Not really." Rhydian said quietly and Tom blunders on, unaware, of danger that he was potentially walking into.
"It's good to make friends..." Tom began and then suddenly Rhydian slammed his pencil down onto the table and turned to face him.
"I don't like football, and I certainly don't want to hang around with you and your weirdo mate. You got that?"
Rhydian asked and Tom nodded slightly at his words, as he walked over to their table again, leaving an angry Rhydian alone.
The real trouble started in the hallway, when Rhydian got into a fight with Jimi, and ended up with Rhydian on top of Jimi, having thrown him onto the ground.
Rhydian was growling and then suddenly his veins started to appear and Maddy grabs him quickly with a furious look at the trio of idiots led by Jimi.
Sierra kicks the ground, right on the floor next to Jimi's head, just to prove, a few points, before she dodged into a darkroom along with Maddy and then Rhydian as well, locking it quickly.
"You have to get out!" Rhydian shouted at them and Maddy looked at Sierra, who recognized the symptoms, at once.
"Maddy, stay behind me, whatever you do. Don't move." Sierra says and suddenly Rhydian's form changed as he growled at them from four paws.
"Rhydian!" Maddy shouted as suddenly he was destroying the whole darkroom by running around.
Then Sierra had changed, standing squarely in front of Maddy, as Maddy changed her eyes, allowin' her wolf to only for a mere moment momentarily take over to aide them both.
