Sierra, Maddy and Rhydian were sitting in detention with Mr. Jeffries and he had started a long lecture.

"Not a lot gets past me in this school Maddy Smith. You should know that by now. All of you." Jeffries pointed at all of them, each one of the trio, as he spoke to them, and Sierra shook her head when he wasn't lookin' at her.

"I've got to go and see the head before she leaves today. You have, all got four minutes so keep working. I'll be back."

He finished his words in a weirdly robotic tone of voice, causing Sierra to drop her pen along with Rhydian as she held her head in her hands with a exasperated growl under her breath at his words.

"I hate it when he does that." Rhydian said at once without any delay as soon as Jeffries had left the building.

"I agree. It drives us to madness and he still doesn't stop it! Although, I am sure that he enjoys annoyin' us all the time!" Sierra growls and Rhydian glanced at her.

"Are you all right? You seem grumpy and irritated." He said and she sighed at him, as she lowers her head quietly onto her desk.

She mumbled something unintelligible from where her head was on the desk and Rhydian looked at Maddy, who shrugged.

"What was that?" He asked again and she let out a low sigh, which sounds a whole lot more like a growl actually.

"My parents, they died nearly 6 years from yesterday, Rhydian." She growls and Rhydian winces. "So I have a right to be grumpy and irritated. Plus, it is a dark moon tomorrow, so I've got even more of a reason to be!" She snarled a bit and her veins began to show.

"Whoa, easy there." Rhydian said as then suddenly, Maddy grabbed their biggest football trophy from the big, uncovered display case. "What are you doing?" He asked Maddy, as she held the trophy in her hands.

"Let's live a little, before we lose the moon." Maddy said with a grin, and a slow smile even began to creep over a certain upset wolfblood's face.

"What?" Rhydian asks her, still sounding confused about what the message was that she was trying to send now. "Maddy!" He said, as she vaulted over the gymnastic vault.

"You coming, or what?" She asked as she tossed him the trophy and Sierra's grin was wider now.

Maddy hopped up quickly and then off of the walls to get up and around to get onto the roof. Sierra smiled a bit and leaps clean up the wall, kicking off hard and catching the lip without any problem.

Rhydian tossed the trophy up to the pair of them and Sierra stepped away from the window, as Rhydian leapt up and copied them, kicking off of their school's equipment to join them both on the roof of the Sports' Center.

"We really shouldn't be doing this, you know." Rhydian says with a small grin on his face that betrayed the tone of voice that he had, which was all too serious.

"Why not?" Maddy asked as she shoved the trophy into his hands and ran up the wall, grabbing onto it, and when she pulled herself up, she had cut her hand.

Sierra shakes her head, as she copied Maddy running up the wall and she'd land, crouching up on the roof next to her.

"Come on, Rhydian." She said and caught the trophy that he tosses to her and he snorted.

"I can't believe that I thought you were the bad influence at first." He says with a grin, as he ran up the wall and landed next to them both, as they walk over to the opposite side of the roof, where the moon was.

"Look. That will not be there tomorrow." Maddy murmured as they all looked at the fading moon.

"Yeah, but your cut will still be on your hand tomorrow, until tomorrow night when the moon returns." Sierra, she looked worried as she spoke.

"Relax Sierra." Maddy says dismissively and suddenly they all realized that Jeffries was returning as they raced back inside.

They had made it back inside in record time, to beat Mr. Jeffries inside which was a relief.

As if they hadn't, he would have sent them to a psychologist for evaluation on their moods and attitudes, and the choice of company that they kept.

The alarm clocks rang throughout the house of the Smith family and Sierra's eyes were shutting again immediately.

Maddy busted open Sierra's door to get her up and Sierra groaned as her little adopted sister, drags the covers, off of her and by extension her bed.

"No! Go away!" Sierra tried to growl but it sounds more like a human that was whining, as she leaned back onto her bed.

"Sierra doesn't have to go to school today!" Mrs Smith shouted and Sierra smirked at Maddy and she growled at her as she stuck out her tongue at her.

After an incident at the hospital, the pair of teenaged wolfbloods who had actually gone to school that day, went their own ways.
