-A Few Hours Later-

"Hey Peridot! We're Back!"I said happily

"..."

"That's weird...Normally Peridot would have responded already..."I muttered under my breath

As I walked closer to the bathroom I heard a strange scratching noise from behind the door. I curiously opened the bathroom door. I yelped out in surprise as Pumpkin fell onto my foot. Pumpkin began to bark loudly, clearly distressed about something.

"What's wrong with you today?" I wondered aloud as I bent down to pet her

Still barking, she ran around the temple. Like she was looking for something?

"Hey Peridot! Do you know why Pumpkin is freaking out?"

"..."

"Peridot?"

[Is she asleep or something?] I thought

I walked over to the bathtub, to find...nobody? Did Peridot leave? That explains why Pumpkin is so upset.

"Yo why's Pumpkin barking so much?" Amethyst asked as she walked into the kitchen

"Well Peridot's not here so that's probably why?"

"Wait P-dot left?"

"Pretty sure."

She sighed and pulled a box of pizza and moved it to the counter.

"We should probably go get the other gems and try to find her." She said, pointing a slice at me

"Yeah, they might know why she's at." I responded as I took a slice

"What's this?" She said to no one in particular

Curious, I looked at a paper that was half way under the pizza box. I watched as she grabbed it, and began to read it.

"What does it say?" I whispered, as her face fell

"..."

A/N: Sorry for not posting a lot. My shift keys on my laptop were busted so I had to order a new key board. Constantly using Copy, Paste, and CapsLock just made writing take a ton of time, so I just kinda stopped? But I'll start posting more regularly now that I got a new keyboard! = )
