You told me I was beautiful, And I told you saracistly 'yeah right'.
You said it out of your normal friendliness and I had taken it differently. I would normally brush things like this off but your words stuck with me. You had me confused about my emotions and reaction to you.
You couldn't read me like I could read you. I was a blank cover of a book filled with black words and no pictures, while you were a colorful book filled with pictures on each page.
You were so open that your emotions were so genuine...
Which is why I started to latch onto you.
