And the little star's shine and the little snowdrop's bloom, like this, they loved each other every night…

2020, November. Jungkook looked at his reflection in the mirror. He tucked his shirt into his pants and tugged his sleeves in place while the stylist noona was busy fixing his hair. Jimin and Namjoon were the last members to get their makeup done. This was their first ever stage this year since Covid-19 had broken out and so much more important and thrilling for the team. The Melon Music Awards has always been a special award show to BTS, since they got their very first Daesang from here. They had been preparing for this performance for two months. It was going to last 28 minutes, shorter than last year but so much better. Even though they loved being on stage performing in front of ARMY, it was also exhausting to always have to pull off ¼ of the show.

The stylists had finished Jimin and Namjoon's makeup, now the manager called the members over to get ready to head to the stage. Before leaving the room, Jungkook looked at the TV screen on the wall. It was TWICE, who were performing. BTS would make it right on time, so one by one the members left the room.

While walking in the hallway, Jungkook thought about their performance: the VCR, the subunits 'Respect' first, 'Jamais Vu' next, 'Friends' last, then group songs 'We are Bulletproof: The Eternal', 'Black Swan' and 'ON'. He got excited thinking about how much ARMY would be happy to see them on stage again. Right then, Seokjin put his arm on Jungkook's shoulders.

"Jungkook-ah, are you nervous? Should Hyung relax you?"

"How are you gonna relax me?"

"Should I massage your neck? Or tell a joke? What does the horse call the pony next door on Old Town Road?"

Jungkook thought about the answer but gave up immediately because it didn't matter, since the answer would definitely be something unpredictable.

"What?"

"His neigh-bour. HAHHAHAH. Yyyhaaa really funny, right?"

The answer got Jungkook so flustered, that he couldn't hold back and just bursted out in laughter. Even though it wasn't that funny, he still felt how relaxed his body became which he was grateful for. Seokjin had this special gift of making Jungkook happy, no matter when and where.

Thinking of happiness, suddenly Jungkook froze. He forgot his lucky charm bracelet with the 'ARMY' initials on it. He was halfway away from their waiting room. He turned and asked the manager if he could run back to get his bracelet.

"It won't last long. I will be right back.", he promised.

The manager didn't like the idea and wanted to head back himself but Jungkook insisted to go himself because he knew the manager wouldn't be able to find it. Unwillingly the manager let him go.

In the waiting room, Jungkook looked into his bag and found the bracelet. A silver bracelet with the 'ARMY' initials on it. He stood up and, with fast and grand strides, he went out of the room while trying to put on the bracelet. The hallway wasn't as full as when they had come to their waiting room 20 minutes ago to get dressed. Since BTS were the last performers, the staff either were near the stage or in their own private rooms. Jungkook could hear their VCR playing and the fans screaming. He was close to the stage. He turned to the right and- bam! He bumped into someone. Someone tiny. They bumped so hard into each other that the other person was about to fall down backwards. To prevent her from falling, Jungkook reached and pulled her by holding onto her arms. To not make it uncomfortable, he let go of her as soon as she found her balance. Looking at her, he realized it was Dahyun from TWICE.

"Ah, I'm sorry.", Jungkook apologized.

"I'm sorry, I didn't pay attention while walking. Are you ok?", Dahyun looked apologetic as well.
