Jungkook felt happy. All this time he thought he was imagining things about her when in fact she felt the same as he. Getting to know more about Dahyun, felt like entering a world that was created for Jungkook. Every corner was full of surprises and every surprise felt familiar to him. Knowing Dahyun was like knowing himself. Jungkook found his reflection in her and got more and more curious about their path..

They arrived shortly after. There were only a couple of people around, which was a relief. Dahyun took off her hat and exchanged it with a beige beanie. Jungkook wore his chook. They went into a shop that was at the entrance. Jungkook lent crampons and trekking poles for Dahyun and himself while Dahyun asked the cashier if there were any other shops besides restaurants in the near, to which the cashier, an old woman, replied with yes and told her there was a little town in the near, where they could go shopping. After leaving the shop, they put the crampons under their boots and started walking up the hill. 

"Woah, I feel nervous.", Dahyun expressed her excitement.

"The road is really beautiful. How is this amount of snow even possible?", amazed by the snowy road, Jungkook looked around.

They both walked a while through the snow. The hill was not too steep but walking in snow was physically demanding, that's why Jungkook kept in step with Dahyun. But she didn't look exhausted at all. Quite the reverse, she was fit enough to run up the hill.

"Dahyun-ah, are you hiking regularly? You don't seem like you'll get tired."

"Ah, this trip makes me feel excited, that's why. When will I be able to climb a mountain ever again? I'm enjoying this."

"I hope you won't get scared later when we reach the top.", Jungkook smiled sarcastically, "I watched the video where you couldn't walk down the mountain in Switzerland."

"Ah, that one? Oppa, that was because the floor was see-through.", Dahyun jokingly made an annoying face, "I will show you how brave I am on this trip."

Jungkook laughed at her sympathetic reaction. Minutes later Jungkook noticed that Dahyun felt cold.

"Are you cold?", Jungkook asked.

"My hands feel cold. I think the temperature becomes colder up there."

Jungkook immediately put down his bag, took out two hot packs and he put them between her hands and the trekking poles that she was holding onto.

"Oh, thank you.", Dahyun felt grateful.

"Tell me when you feel exhausted."

"Alright."

The farther they walked, the more beautiful became the view. Here and there they stopped to take pictures of the landscape and eat chocolate. On their way up, Dahyun suddenly stopped and looked at something on the ground. She seemed to have discovered something on the roadside.

"Oh, look at this!", she pointed at something in the snow.

Jungkook followed her to the direction she pointed at. She knelt down and gently stroked something. Looking closely Jungkook saw a beautiful little snowdrop in between the high pile of snow.

"Isn't it amazing? She's so tiny and fine but still strong enough to bloom in winter. Snowdrops must have a strong will to survive.", she said.

Jungkook watched her admiring the snowdrop. She looked beautiful. He pulled out his phone and took a picture of her with the snowdrop. Dahyun didn't notice. She cleaned the snow around the snowdrop, then stood up and they kept hiking.
