Suddenly I was wrapped in his arms as he rushed me back to the safety of his car. I could feel the warmth of the tears, flowing down my cheeks. I heard, sounds of the car doors opening and closing. Edward pulled me to his chest and I cried. I cried harder and harder. When I began shaking he held me as close as he could without hurting me. He hummed my lullaby and kissed my head.
"wwhyy ddoess thiiss aalwayyss happppen ttt-" I was stopped by Edwards finger across my lips.
"Bella, Its nothing you can control. I love you, I will always be here for when you have an attack. I swear." His green eyes gazed into mine. I wanted to kiss him but I was still shaking. I shook my head and placed it back into his chest.
"I love you too." I mumbled into his White shirt. I felt horrible, his shirt was covered in my tears. He was missing class, and It was all because of me.
"Go, back to class. I'm fine." I sort-of was. My shaking stopped and I just needed a few minutes to recover.
"We go together, always." He vowed. His lips pressed against my fore head and I smiled. Edward Always knew how to amaze me.
The rest of the day went by amazingly quickly. Probably the overdose of my pills, taking effect. The only class I was truly attentive in was gym. We all had on our ugly, yellow tee-shirts, and our blue shorts. The gym teacher, Mr. V would push us all to our limits. He made us run 2 miles, without stopping.
"Bella, what happened this morning?" Alice jogged next to me.
"I, just freaked out." I looked down and watched my feet moving up and down, up and down.
"Oh, well. Bella, I really need to talk to you." Her voice sounded different, it wasn't perky and happy. It was mallow and. serious.
My head snapped up. Alice was never this serious with me, something had to be wrong.
"what-" I was stopped by Alice with a deadly look on her face.
"Later." Her eyes were filled with fear, and uncertainty. I kept jogging thinking of what could of happened.
Did she and Jasper break up? Did she have a huge secret? Was something wrong with Edward? My heart started beating faster, so I just kept running faster, so fast that I started passing people. I was known as "Slow Swan", to see everyone's reaction as I sped by was amusing. As I kept running my anxiety was ceasing. James Martin was the lead runner. I began to run right along side him.
"hey" he spoke, out of breath.
"Hi." I sounded just like he did, breathless.
"Your, Bella right?" He glanced over at me, smiling a wide grin.
"Yeah, and your James?" I didn't smile back at him, I was too busy trying to catch my breath.
"That's me, Trouble and all." He joked.
"Trouble?" I eyed him, he looked nice.
"Oh yeah, Bringing terror to all the foster homes." He laughed.
"Foster Homes? That's why your in Forks?" This was becoming too hard. I was falling behind, I took a huge gulp of air and ran faster.
"Mr. and Mrs. Davidson. It's hell though, I have 5 little "sisters"" he put air quotes over the sisters.
" I used to Baby-sit for them, I always left crying." I giggled. I had lots of memories babysitting for them.
"GOOD JOB EVERYONE! SEE YOU ALL TOMMORROW!" the coach yelled over the school bell screeching.
"Well, it was nice to talk to you Bella." He waved as he jogged over to the boys locker room.
I waved back and smiled. James seemed like a nice guy. It would be good to have a new friend. Alice was by my side and we entered the locker-room. I pulled my locker open and grabbed my jeans, and plaid shirt.
"Hey- Slow Swan! Nice job today!" Jessica yelled over everyone. She was trying to pull off her gym shirt, an epic fail. I smiled as I pulled off my gym clothes. Alice was gone. She was changing in the stall, Alice never did that. I shook off my thoughts and tied my shoes. I pulled my backpack off the ground and walked back out into the rain. Edward was waiting for me, like always. He Took the backpack from my hands and put his free arm around my waist. I pulled closer to
him, gathering his scent.
"How was gym?" He questioned while pulling his car keys out of his pocket.
"Okay, but Alice said she had to tell me something." I looked up at his face. He froze.
"What did she tell you." His eyes were looking down at me, caustically.
"She didn't. I never had a chance to talk to her." I pulled out from his arm.
"What's going on?" I demanded.
"I want Alice to tell you." He explained. He opened the passenger side door of his Volvo and threw my backpack in.
"Fine." I crossed my arms over my chest and sat down.
"Bella, please don't make things more difficult than they already are." He started the car and pulled out of the School's parking lot.
"Your making it difficult! Please Edward tell me!" I argued
"Isabella Marie Swan. Relax, She is going to tell you tonight." He coaxed me. He took one hand off of the steering wheel and laced his fingers with mine.
"Edward Anthony Cullen, I love you." I smiled, and grasped his hand harder.
He looked over at me and shot me his crooked smile.
The car turned and we were at Edward's house. The car was turned off and my door was opened. I stepped out into the mud and ran through the rain, laughing with Edward as he tried to Unlock the back door.
"Damn lock." He muttered while jimming the key.
I laughed, took the key from his hand, and opened the lock in two seconds flat.
"Patience young one." I joked
"Yes, master." He bowed down with his hands folded together.
I snorted and we rushed up the long staircase up to his room. I threw open his door and Edward threw our bags on the floor. He grabbed my waist and we cuddled on his bed.
I laid my head on his chest and looked up towards him.
"When?" I questioned him.
"She'll be home soon." He took his hand a caressed my cheek.
"Promise me you'll help her." His hand stopped at my cheek, his eyes full of concern.
"I promise." I took his hand off my face and kissed him on the lips. I could feel him smiling as we kissed.
I heard a door slam downstairs and froze.
"BELLA?" I heard Alice yell.
I pulled my face off of Edward and smiled.
"UP HERE!" I yelled back.
Edward smiled at my enthusiasm, and pulled his fingers through his tousled hair.
He patted his lap, and I sat happily in it. His arms wrapped around me as Alice came through the doorway.
"Bella, where the hell did you go after gym?" Alice chirped.
I turned my head and kissed Edward on the lips.
"Where did you think I went?" I smiled
"Well, normally you wait for me while we change." She laughed.
"I was a little Excited to see someone." I whispered.
Edward's arms pulled me closer to him. I took a deep breath and asked the question that had been bothering me for a long time.
"Alice, What's wrong?" I looked up at her small pale face.
"Bella." She sat down next to me and Edward on the bed.
"Bella, I'm Pregnant." She stared at me with her watery eyes.
