He parked his car and pulled me out with him, The wind was steady and the waves crashing against the beach were salty and fresh.
Edward Pulled a blanket out of his car, "Lets watch the sunrise." He wrapped his arms around my waist and pulled me closer to the shore.
Carefully he spread out the blanket and we cuddled on top. He took my hips and pulled me into his lap.
"About next week." He laced my fingers with his.
"yes?" I choked, I hated for him to leave me.
"You said that you were just my girlfriend right?"
I swallowed, where the hell was he going with this?
I nodded, not knowing if my voice was going to be clear or not.
"Well, I don't just want us to be boyfriend and girlfriend anymore." He looked at me and I blinked.
"What?" I was terrified. Edward didn't want me anymore? I glanced up at the pink and orange sky, trying to hold back tears. Edward pulled something out of his pocket and moved onto one knee.
My hands pulled up to my mouth, as I whispered a "Oh."
Edward took my other hand and glazed into my eyes.
"Isabella Marie Swan, I promise to love you for every second of every day of Forever. Will you do the amazing pleasure of Marrying me?" He flipped open the little black box to reveal an amazing diamond ring. Three small stones surrounded an amazing crystal clear diamond that reflected the rainbow. Tears were overflowing my face.
"Yes!" I choked.
Edward Smiled the biggest I had ever seen him smile as he placed the ring on my finger. He then wrapped his arms around and spun me around and around. I smiled and kissed his neck. This was perfect, Edward was going to be mine. Only mine.
I stepped out of the Volvo and unto the gravel driveway, the small elderly center, was on a hill, Edward took my hand and we entered the building. We signed in and found his grandmother.
"She's still recovering from her brain surgery 6 months ago..." Edward whispered before we opened the door.
I gave him a gentle squeeze and he pulled us through the door.
"Edward? Honey is that you?" A pale woman rasped from the bed.
"Hello, Grandma." Edward smiled, and we walked closer to her bedside.
"Now who's this lovely young woman?" She smiled. She smelled of medicine and bad perfume, she was a sweet old lady, I was glad to share this moment with Edward.
She and Edward began talking when suddenly she gasped very loud.
"Edward! Is that my wedding ring?" she exclaimed.
I looked down at my finger, holding my breath, I glanced over at Edward.
"Yes." He smiled and put his arm around me, "This is my fiancée Bella."
I began to blush and put my head down, "Oh Bella, " She whispered. "Welcome to the family."
