3. Final goodbye

Ragini stood up and went to the closet to pack her bags.

She took all the clothes she owned and left the clothes given by Sanskar. She packed her toiletries and necessities.

And then she looked around the room when her eye stopped at the painting of a white bird that flew out of the window and heading to the bright Sun ⛅

She went to the time when Sanskar gifted her

She loves arts and paintings. On their first night he gifted her the painting and she was lost admiring it absorbing the meaning behind it. He sat beside her with a smile on his face while he is adoring her. He want her to fulfill her dreams too but its hard to convince her because he felt guilty because of him and this marriage she left her dreams.

He explained her expecting may be she get hint "it signifies freedom and overcoming our fears. The light of the sun indicates the future. Whatever decision you'll made today, you should think of it wisely so you'll never go wrong in the future"

She nodded and kept on admiring painting, he knew then that she is adamant. And she felt happy that he cared about her though its an arrange marriage.

She remembered reading somewhere,
"To fall in love is awfully simple, but to fall out of love is simply awful"

And today she understood the true meaning of the phrase. Its really easy to give everything to someone but its too hard to take it back.

She always believed in selflessness especially she can do anything for the one she loved. She still believe that by keeping the marriage she is destroying three lives, let's destroy one and let that be HERS

She looked at their wedding pictures, the bedroom where they spent time talking and making love, every moment flashes in front of her making her go weak and the final blow is the divorce papers which she received a while ago.

She wants to cry but may be her tears got dried that's why the sound of her breaking heart is also making her senseless. She wants to crawl down or beg him to take her back, to confess him that she love him but still she took the pen and signed the papers breaking the final string of their relationship. Praying in her heart for his well being and successful future.

She looked again at the room, kitchen, living room, and the walls containing their memories in photographs. She didn't took anything else she wouldn't be able to stand by her decision. Now its truly a final goodbye

May be God give her Hope and strength to fight for herself, her self-respect because she knew that she can't go back to her parents, she can't be burden to them and so she took the taxi and headed to railway station where her future is waiting for her. Closing this pain ful chapter she is ready to read a lot more painful chapters with determination.
