Kill the person and burn them to ashes. Then scatter the ashes in multiple bodies of water to disperse them and make it seem like wood ash randomly scattered if anyone finds the ashes. After you do this call the police 24 hours after and file a missing persons report, if they can't find the person or body, eventually the case will become a cold case and forgotten. You might still be a suspect in their disappearance but that's where the amazing lying comes in.
Keep in mind these are not things you should do, i mean you could use these in a book/fic but yeah
