~In Paris on the day of the summit~ 

A reporter is outside the hotel where all the crowd has gathered. Peace Summit Reporter: "The diplomats from all around the world are arriving here today at the Hotel Royale. It's a historic day as it's the official ending of the United States military involvement in Vietnam. There's the South Vietnamese foreign minister with other South Vietnamese dignitaries." 

~inside the hotel~ 

Trask arrives with Stryker and they are being guided to his room. Nixon Aide: "The summit doesn't begin for another hour. The hotel's arranged a private room upstairs for your special guests." Dr. Bolivar Trask: "That'll be plenty of time." Trask and Stryker enter the room where the Vietnamese dignitaries along with other representatives of communist nations are waiting. Trask: "Good afternoon everyone. Hello, thank you for coming. Congratulations on winning this war. Now I know you all have hands to shake and photos to take downstairs so I will get right to the point. There is a new enemy out there, an enemy that will render your arsenals useless, your armies powerless, and your nations defenseless. You'll need a new weapon for this war. I call them Sentinels." Stryker shows the dignitaries the blueprints. Trask: "Named after the ancient guardians that stood at the gates of the Citadel. They have the aeronautic capabilities of a Harrier jet, armed with guns that can fire off more than two thousand rounds per minute of thermo-ceramic ammunition. But size, power, speed, you could find that at Lockheed or Boeing. No, what makes the Sentinels so special is the ability to target the mutant X gene." Trask holds up a small device. Trask: "A genetic guidance system that can lock onto a mark half a mile away and won't trigger unless it's identified the target. With this weapon, there will be no human collateral damage. If I turn it on, the system couldn't even activate in here." Trask turns on the device and it starts to beep as it picks up a mutant reading. Trask: "Unless there's a mutant." He starts pointing the device at each person in the room and it suddenly goes to its maximum reading when pointed at General Nhuan. Nhuan smiles as everyone in the room looks at him accusingly. General Nhuan: "There has to be some kind of mistake." Trask: "My machines don't make mistakes. What are you?" General Nhuan: "I assure you. I..." Nhuan stands and Stryker points his gun at him. Trask: "No, don't shoot it." General Nhuan: "I assure you, I don't know what you're talking about." The men in the room go over to grab Nhuan and he suddenly turns into Raven, she takes down every man in the room before grabbing a gun and aiming it at Trask, at the same time Erik, Charles, Logan, y/n, and Hank arrive to stop her. Charles: "Raven!" Suddenly Stryker shoots his taser gun at her and she falls on the table. Charles: "Raven! Raven!" Erik uses his power to pull the tasers off of Raven and throws them onto Stryker. Charles goes to comfort Raven as recovers from the taser shot. Charles: "Raven?" Mystique: "Charles?" Charles: "We've come for you, Erik and I, together." Y/n: "What? Are Logan and I chopped liver?" Mystique: "I never thought I...I'd see you again." Charles: "I'm going to keep you safe, I'm going to keep you out of their hands." At the same time, Erik realizes that everything can be prevented if he kills Raven so he uses his power to grab the gun and aims it at her. Mystique: "Erik?" Charles: "Erik, what are you doing?" Erik: "Securing our future. Forgive me, Mystique. As long as you're out there we'll never be safe." Hank: "Erik?" Mystique: "Use your powers, Charles, stop him." Erik: "He can't." Y/n: "You think this is going to help. You kill her and the government has everything it needs to kill everyone else." Just as Erik is about to shoot the gun Raven jumps out the window and Hank throws himself at Erik, causing the gun to fall but fire is still shot and the bullet follows Raven out the window and hits her in the leg as she falls to the ground. The distress of Logan seeing Stryker causes a rift in the future. 

~Future~

Kitty: "He's slipping! He's slipping back! I'm losing him!~

~Back in time~

The people in the crowd see Raven as she rises from her fall, she turns herself into a regular bystander, inside the hotel Hank turns into his Beast form and Logan still distressed extends his claws as he has another vision of Stryker. Logan: "Stryker!" Y/n: "It will be okay Logan calming thoughts remember." Stryker: "Someone will finish what we started Wolverine, one day!" 

~In the future~

The distress causes Logan to extend his claws and slashing through the air, in the process he slashes Kitty on the arm; to Bobby. Magneto: "Restrain him." 

~Back in time~ 

Erik floats down the window and watches Raven limping away still in her human bystander form, as the bullet is still in her leg Erik uses his power to pull Raven towards him, she shifts back to her mutant form as he pulls her. Mystique: "No! Erik!" Erik uses his power to pull the bullet out of her leg. Back in the hotel, Logan looks around him with confusion. Past Logan: "Where am I?" Y/n: "Oh no. The connection was lost..." Charles: "Huh?" Past Logan: "How the hell did I get here?" Charles: "What? You came to us." Past Logan: "Who are you?" Charles: "Charles. [suddenly Logan grabs him] Charles Xavier!" Past Logan: "I don't know you." Y/n: "He slipping between past and future!" Charles: "Huh?" Past Logan notices Hank as he rises now fully transformed into his mutant form. Past Logan: "What the hell is that?" Y/n: "That's Beast." Calming Hank as he looks angrily at Logan. Charles: "Woh, woh, woh, woh, woh. We can deal with this, just go. Stop Erik!" 

~Outside the hotel~ 

Raven looks pleadingly at Erik as he hovers the bullet above his hand. Mystique: "Erik!" Erik: "I'm sorry." Mystique: "Erik..." Just then Hank jumps down onto Erik and tackles Erik into the nearby fountain; back inside the hotel. Charles: "You're Logan, that's Hank McCoy, I'm Charles Xavier. You spent the last couple of days with us. Are you on acid? Somebody gave you really bad acid. Yeah?" Y/n rolls eyes. Charles: "Just hold on tight, we'll get through this together." 

~in the future~

As Kitty is still trying to keep Logan's mind in the past Bobby notices her wound. Bobby: "Oh, my God! Kitty! She's wounded pretty bad." 

~back in time~ 

Stryker manages to get the tasers off him, as he goes to escape he turns and notices Logan's claws. Y/n: "Oh where do you think you're going?" Y/n stops him from moving. Stryker: "What are you?" Y/n: "Your worst nightmare." Y/n throws Stryker into a wall so hard he went through it. Stryker grans before getting up and running off, outside the hotel Erik tries to look for Raven who's transformed into an old man, not being able to see her Erik goes off, then the remaining bystanders capture Hank in his Beast form on camera, he gets angry and runs away, frightening everyone. 

~In the future~

Kitty manages to get Logan back on track, she looks at Magneto and Professor X. Kitty: "I got him."

~back in time~ 

Logan suddenly recognizes Charles. Logan: "Professor?" Young Charles: "What happened to you?" Y/n: "You okay Logan? The connection slipped." Logan: "I just saw someone who's going to bring me a lot of pain someday. Where's Raven?" Charles: "Gone." Logan: "What?" y/n: "She jumped out of the window after Erick tried to kill her I'll explain the rest another time." Charles: "We have to get out of here!" Officials, including Trask, meet in the White House with President Nixon as news reports of the mutants' sightings are shown on television. Peace Summit Reporter: "Yesterday, the Paris Peace Summit was rocked by the appearance of unidentified assailants, the likes of which the world has never seen. Mass hysteria has gripped the nation as people ask: Where do they come from? Will they be back? And most importantly, are they friend or foe?" News Anchor: "That was London correspondent Toby Elliot reporting from the Paris Peace Summit yesterday."
