I devoted my time, loving you.
I gave you my undivided attention.
Made sure your heart bubbled.
Ensured it blossomed with love.
You were happy.
You smiled, you glowed.
But I wasn't.
My heart withered.
You didn't look my way.
In you world, I was of no existence.
And now, I have come to knowledge.
I have understood the concept of love.
And my heart is glowing.
Not because you're yet to return my efforts, but because love is a beautiful thing and it doesn't expect.
