So today I got this message:
(I cropped out the personal info which Linda put below, in case it is legit)
I'm not sure if this is legit.
1) "TencentLiterature" doesn't exist. "Tencent Literature" does, however. Linda typed it without a space, and that may just have been a typo.
1a) "W e b n o v e l" doesn't exist- but "Webnovel" is a real app. The same reasons apply as above.
2) I didn't write a novel. I just wrote some crappy short stories.
3) I have three published works. My rants book (this one), my short stories book, and the chat where me and some other users were being mean to fictional villians. I doubt this book or the chat could have been what they were talking about. And the thing is, my short stories book had the same stats it's had for the past five-ish days- 22 reads, 3 votes, and 3 comments. If Linda really did look at my short stories book, then why wouldn't their reads show up?
3a[2a?]) In the third paragraphs, Linda says "Novels" I only have one actual story book.
[I've got to stop making #a's...]
4) Now this one is just my opinion, but wangjianchangll6 doesn't seem like a username someone that works for a writing company would take. They also joined on the 29th, which is sort of close to today, making me a bit supsisious.
So is this legit? I seriously don't know...
Edit, 10/22/2020: It's fake. More info here, please be careful! -->
