SEIKO'S POV:

The next morning I got up early, said goodbye to the boys, and took a bus home. During the ride, I thought about why my parents asked me to come home that weekend. They surely just missed me already.....right?

I rang the doorbell and waited till mom opened the door and crushed me in a hug. Jesus christ I could barely breathe!

-"Mom I may die from lack of air if you don't let me go now-"

-"My son was gone for two weeks and I missed him shush."- she said hugging me tighter.

-" Woman we want our son alive, preferably."- I heard dad's voice coming from behind mom.

-" For god's sake you two!"- she gave me one last kiss and moved aside so that I could face dad.

To my surprise, dad lifted me and hugged me even tighter than mom. I swear by this time I started seeing stars...

-"Welcome back Kiko! We missed you son."- he said while hugging me.

-" Hey dad I missed both of you as well now can you let me down please-" He finally let me down.

-" So how's high school going?" - he asked me.

-"Great actually. Better than I expected."

-"We're glad to hear that. We've been in touch with your teachers and they appear to be very happy with your work too."- Mom said with a proud look on her face as we went to the living room and sat down.

-"Yeah anyway, what's with all the rush about me coming home since the first weekend? Or did you miss me already?" - I said sensing that it wasn't just because they wanted to see me, by the look on their face.

Their expression changed immediately, making me think that something was going on I didn't know.

-"Is there something you need to tell me?"

You could tell they were struggling to find a way to tell me, looking at each other worriedly trying to figure it out.

-"It's about Satomi isn't it." - I said in realization.

Of course. It didn't make sense they wanted me to come home that early. Mom's persistence, this look on their faces... I should've known.

-"Someone tell me *right now* what's going on."

-" Seiko.."

I was afraid of the answer. I was afraid that my biggest fear would come true. No. No, it can't be...

-" Is she alive, or not."- I asked, my voice cracking.

-" Oh my god Seiko, we're so sorry we made you think that's the case, sweetie! Yes, yes, of course, Satomi is alive! Oh honey.." - Mom hugged closing her teary eyes as if she couldn't even bear the idea.

I sighed in relief. Oh, thank god... She lives. She's alive... But then that happiness and relief was replaced by something else...

-" Then- then what is the case?"

I was horrified. Many scenarios started playing in my head. If Satomi was alive, then where was she? But most importantly... who had her?!

-"Dad, mom, please answer me."

-" We, well I received a letter from a so-called "The New Era Alliance ", a group of villains who claim to have Satomi. The letter was written by their leader. From what he wrote, they are after me. Satomi is just a pawn.

I was trying to process it all. I was...confused? In disbelief? An alliance? Villains? How can this be?

-" All we know is that Satomi is fine by now if they're telling the truth. But even if not... We still have to act up as soon as possible."

-"Can..can I see the letter..?"

-" Of course, here."

Dad grabbed a letter from the table in front of us and gave it to me. Mom didn't say anything. She was staying there staring at the floor. It looked like she was trying not to cry. It pained me to see her that way.

I turned my eyes to dad. I knew he was acting professional and calm because he didn't want to show weakness in front of me. He wanted to give me assurance.

But I knew he was in pain more than anyone else. His daughter was in danger, and it was because of him. He was in between being a father whom his daughter was taken away, trying to be a source of strength for the rest of the family, and being a hero, the Symbol of Peace, whose duty is to save and protect a citizen in danger. He had to keep his emotions aside and be professional.

If me and mom were paining, he was paining 10 times more. My heart sank to my stomach as I read the letter, anger rising within me with each word that I read. I stayed silent after finishing it, leaving the letter at the table as quickly as I could as if it burning me. None of my [parents dared to speak. They probably wanted me to wrap my head around what I'd just read before speaking. I took a deep breath trying to calm my nerves. Letting my emotions get the best of me is;t gonna help Satomi right now.

-"...What do we do know?" I managed to croak out, my throat suddenly very dry. My parents shared a look before my mom started to speak.

-"Me, aunt Heidi and Yuna are trying to track down where the letter came from. We asked Aga if she could see anything with her shadow quirk if possible and she agreed."

Dad then took over "And I and your uncles including Eraserhead are trying to find anything on this alliance and trying to come up with a plan as to how to defeat them."

-"I want to help too."

-"Seiko as your mother I cannot let you do that. It's far too dangerous."

-"I'm with your mom in this one Kiko. We can't risk losing another child...Not again."

-"BUT WHAT AM I SUPPOSED TO DO. YOU JUST WANT ME TO GO BACK TO SCHOOL AND ACT AS IF NOTHING HAPPENED. AS IF I DOONT KNOW MY SISTER IS ONE WRONG MOVE AWAY FROM BEING HURT BY THIS CRAZY DOUNCE BLACKOUT. I CANT...I can't let her get more hurt. And I can't stay still. You have to understand."

As I closed my eyes I felt my mom's gentle hand wipe the tears that I just now noticed had been falling. I opened my eyes again to see my parents looking at me with soft smiles and proud eyes.

-"Kiko...we can't let you get hurt and as a hero, there would be no chance I would let a minor, let alone a hero in training, do this. But as your parent...I understand my son."

My parents turned towards each other as if they were having a conversation of their own. My mom sighed and turned away in defeat. Dad had won whatever mini-argument they were having.

-"Fine, he can help. But the moment I see that it's too dangerous for him I'm pulling him out. And you're getting full responsibility for this Izuku."

-"Of course my love. And there is nothing to worry about. He will work with me on trying to plan the attack on TNEA1. I won't let anything get to him. " Dad seemed to gleam as he kissed mom.-"How does that sound Kiko?"

-"Sounds great dad. And thank you mom...for letting me. I know its a hard decision."

-"Damn right it is! But I also know there's nothing that will stop you once you decide on doing something. Now enough of this. I missed my son and I wanna know more about his time at UA."

Dad went to the kitchen and brought some pizza that he had ordered before my arrival and we spent the evening cuddling on the couch talking about how these past two weeks had been as well as mom and dad's time there as well. It was nice and calming...the calm before the storm that was waiting the right time to strike.
