CHAPTER 54: Fainted!

Stop thinking so much about her.

But what if something happens. She is ill. Her face too looked pale.

I had to take her to the doctor. But this ego of mine.

I stopped the car and groaned in frustration.

"Why can't I take you out of my mind Ev?"

"What is wrong with you Ev?"

"Fine. I'll keep aside my ego and I'll take you to the doctor after the meeting. I can't see you like this. It hurts. UGH!!"

I then took out my phone and called Frank.

He picked up.

"Hello Sir."

"Frank did you drop you umm... did you drop Ev." I asked.

"Yes sir. She went inside now only."

"Is she okay? I mean she was sick so.."

"Yes sir I think she is fine. But her face still looks pale. She is not like this usually. She talks a lot but today she didn't say a word. She was just sitting silently."

"Okay. Thanks." I hung up.

I started my car.

The whole time I was driving there was only one thing on my mind.

This girl is making me crazy.

When I reached Simon Corporation. I went in. The meeting will be held here. I saw employees of my company waiting there for me. I went to them.

They all greeted me. "Good morning sir."

"Morning. Everything is ready."

"Yes sir." My assistant Kate said.

I nodded.

Then I started looking here and there. Just to get a glimpse of my Ev. Just to ensure that she is okay. I saw Cassandra going up. I called her. She turned around and smiled at me and made her way towards me.

"Hey. Alexander. You are here for the meeting right? Of course what am I asking you are here for the-"

"Have you seen Ev?"

"Ev. Ya she was with me a few minutes ago then she went to the meeting room."

"Is she okay?"

"Well she is pretending that she is okay but I don't think that she is. She was looking really pale in the morning. I asked her she said maybe it's because she ate a lot of chocolates. I even told her yesterday to go to the doctor but that bitch never listens to me."

I raised my brows. Did she really called my Ev bitch?

"Language." I said in an angry tone. Nobody calls her that.

"Chill dude she is my friend. She too calls me that."

"I don't care. You are not calling her that in front of me at least."

"Okay fine."

"You can leave now."

"Rude." She mumbled in a low voice but I still heard it.

I went back to where everyone was standing. My eyes were still searching her. If by luck I see her.
