"So.... this isn't a birth mark?" You asked to the guy dressed nicely in white.

Flashback

You were 18 and was just done placing everything onto its rightful place when all of a sudden you noticed something white from the corner of your eye.

You were frightened by his appearance and almost threw him a book onto his head when it stopped mid-air as his hand pointed at it putting it back to place.

"Wh-what are you?" You said making the guy smile.

"I'm what you guys usually call.... an angel. Now, Han Y/N. I have something that i have to explain to you. Let us sit down first."

He said as he got himself up marching towards the comfy sofa. Not knowing what to do, you just followed and sat next to him.

"Have you ever wondered about the circle-like mark on the back of your head?" He asked making you confused as to how could the guy have known about the mark.

"Yes, yes i have. The doctors said it might be a birth mark or something, but i'm not convinced that it is. I tried searching for it to see if someone might have had the same experience with me."

"Of course you're not gonna find it. Because we already told all of the chosen people to hide about the fact they have to hide the meaning behind the mark. I'm here to explain it to you since you're an adult now so listen carefully."

He paused for a bit giving time for you to digest all of the things.

"That mark you have, is the mark of an angel. It means that once your loved ones, which includes your family, your friends, or even your lover forget about you, you will disappear into thin air." His explanation made you tremble in fear. The thought of you disappearing just like that made you scared to the bones when the guy instantly calmed you down.

"It's understandable that you might be frightened. Let me continue. You'll disappear into thin air, and become one of us."

"I'll become... an angel?" You asked to him once again making him nod. You were confused on how to react to such news.

"Oh! I almost forgot. It's not entirely dependent on that. It's all still up to the guy in charge up there." He said pointing up to the sky.

"My neighbor on the upper floor? I knew it. He always acts weird. Always staring at me whenever i go out."

"Yeah.... that's not what i meant Y/N. But you should really be careful with your neighbor."

"Oh." You then realized about the guy he's referencing to. "But how do i know when everyone is gonna forget about me? My friends might forget about me, since we're all bound to be on our own ways, but there's no way my family or my lover will forget about me."

"Like i said, Y/N. It's still up to the guy in charge. You could disappear at any time, but surely not for a foreseeable time. Any questions before i leave?"

"So i have to keep this a secret?"

"Yes. I know what you're thinking. Don't even tell your girlfriend about this." He said making you feel sad that you couldn't even tell her about it.

Flashback end

"So i'll disappear once everyone forgets about me.... or at least until 'he' decided to pull me." You talked to yourself in the middle of the night. You were kind of scared at the thought of disappearing, so you called your girlfriend. Kwon Eunbi.
