You were playing on your phone trying to push that rank as high as you can as a group of girls came in while laughing. It was Yena's group of friends, including herself of course.

It's her again.... *sigh* if only we were on the same level.

You shook your head as you go back to your game. You were squinting your eyes looking for that last enemy on your map. You were looking left and right as you were moving to the last zone when someone shot you on the head making you lose.

Damn it! Oh well... at least it's a plus.

You quit the app and looked back at the group of girls. You glanced at the head of the group, Choi Yena.

I wish i was popular. But being alone like this has its perks as well. I won't complain.

You then imagined what would you do with her if she was your friend, or maybe even your girlfriend. But you shut that thought down immediately due to how ridiculous it sounded.

Nah. She deserves better. A quiet kid like me shouldn't even be near her.

You turned your gaze away to the professor who just came into class.

Time skip

"Okay class. Before you all go, i'm gonna give you all assignments. Please pair up."

What a pain.... Now i need to pair up? I don't even have any friends to pair up with here.

You looked around to search for someone to couple up with, but it seemed like all of the them were already paired up meaning that you're the only one that hasn't gotten any pair. So you gave up.

Guess i'll do it alone. Sorry for disregarding the rules, professor. I hope you don't mind.

The other students then got up and left the class.

Guess i'll do it now. The sooner i do this, the better.

You walked to the library and noticed 2 girls sitting with each other. It was Yena and her friend.

They're here? I didn't expect that. They seem like the type to goof around and not do any work. Guess i shouldn't judge a book by its cover.

You proceeded to walk and sat further away from them. You walked to find some book for references, and that's when you saw Yena upclose for the first time.

God why is she here? Wait. Of course she's here. We got the same assignment. Of course she'll look for the same references as mine.

You hesitated to go near her, so you decided to pull away.

I'll look for the book when she's not here.

Just before you walked away, you looked at her tiptoeing trying to reach for the book on the shelf. The shelf was shaking making the books on the top moving about to fall down from its place. You noticed that and quickly ran to her aid, pushing her out of the spot. You quickly covered your head as the books were already on the way down to your head. You covered it with both of your hands as the edges were falling onto your arm making you grunt due to pain it caused.

After the wave of the falling books was over, you looked at her who was in shock because of the sequence that just happened.

"Are you okay?" You walked over to her helping her get up. "I'm sorry that i pushed you. The books could've hit you instead if i didn't do it."
