It's been a month since you went to the class after the rejection. You were still messed up considering that you were rejected. You're at campus after you tried bracing yourself and show up. It ended up being a failure as you sat on the bench there for half an hour.

This is messed up. It's messing with me more than i thought. I need to go somewhere.

"Come to this year's biggest party!" Someone said making you look up. He handed you the pamphlet and walk away looking for other students to hand it to. You looked at it where there's a location and timestamp written on it.

A party huh? I guess i can go. I need some place to take things off my mind.

The day of the party as you were getting ready as the time for the party is approaching. You looked at the clock showing 6PM.

In 1 hour huh? I didn't realize i would be done so soon.

You sat on your bed contemplating on whether to go out and take a stroll or just wait at home until the party's about to start.

*Sigh*.... Guess i should just go out. It's better than lazying around here.

You decided to go out, putting in your shoes and locking the door before leaving the place. You walked around looking at the stores sometimes wishing you could buy this and that. Considering you were a college student and doing some part-time work to stay alive, you decided not to.

I'll get a decent-paying job so i can buy all those stuff.

You kept walking eventually buying some snacks to fill your stomach before departing to the party. Just then, someone tapped you from behind calling you.

"Hi." A soft voice called you. You felt your heart sank hearing that voice again after having not seeing her ever since the last time you rejected her.

"Oh. Hi." Instead of frowning, you put a smile on your face even though it hurts seeing her.

"I haven't seen you in class since last month. Where have you been?" She asked.

"Oh, uh...." You tried coming up with some excuse. "Oh! I was uh.... my friend just resigned from my workplace so i had to cover for her shifts until someone new takes over."

"You're working part-time?" She asked making you nod. "That's cool! I wish i could work part-time."

"You mean you can't?"

"My parents wont let me. They said i should focus on my studies instead of using it to work."

"I see.... that's some caring parents right there. Haha" You said laughing awkwardly as she does the same. Now the situation has become more awkward after the conversation had stopped.

"So... where're you going?" She asked.

"There's this party that was printed on a pamphlet, so i decided to go there."

To try and get my mind off you.

"Really?! Is it at XX?"

You were shocked because she just mentioned the name of the place you were heading to.

"Yes it is."

" *gasp* I'm also about to go there! Let's go together then!" She said. You were happy at the thought of going with her together, but you can't shake the thought of her already having a boyfriend.
