Hey guys!! So I've finally been able to update so enjoy! :)

I checked the time on my phone realising I had ten minutes to make it back to the office. I quickly finished my drink and paid and left and began my walk back to work. Making it back to the lobby with five minutes left to get back to my desk I began walking towards the elevator where I noticed Chase was waiting for the elevator doors to open. Oh great. I most certainly am not going in there with him after earlier events. I quickly turned round made my way to the stairs. I certainly wasn't going to make it back to the top floor in time.

Finally making it up to the top floor I can safely say that that was my weekly workout done. Checking my watch it read seven minutes past one. Hmm... Seven minutes late wasn't too bad right? If only I was prepared for what I would have to face once I was back in my office.

I had somehow managed to keep my head down for the first hour back until an email popped up onto my screen from Chase. Oh god. 'Come to my office now'.

I pushed my chair back away from my desk and carefully pulled my skirt down and smoothed out the creases. I made my way over to his office door and pushed it open without knocking.

I made my way over to his dark mahogany desk. The first time I had seen it was with my interview with his father. Chase was sitting in the large leather chair typing furiously on his laptop. I waited and waited but he still didn't look up. Was he doing this on purpose? I coughed trying to get his attention. He slowly looked up obviously trying to make me feel as uncomfortable and awkward as possible. And guess what, it was working.

"Sit". I followed his instruction although it sounded more like a command, little piece of shi-. I was cut off when he continued.

"Seven minutes late Miss Summers, not very acceptable on your first day of work is it now?" Patronising dick.

"I hope you realise that taking the stairs rather than the elevator probably wasn't your smartest move". He said smiling innocently.

"Oh and whys that Mr Bramingwood?" Reciprocating his smile.

"Because now I am going to have to punish you" Say what now? Punish?

"Don't worry Miss Summers, you won't know when I'll punish you, but I will. I make sure I find out about my employees weaknesses and strengths and I use them to my advantage. You may leave now. I have work to get on with and so do you". He then carried on looking at his laptop and continued typing.

" No". My mouth spoke before my brain had a chance to register what I was doing.

"Excuse me Miss Summers is there something you would like to say?" He questioned curiously.

Well I have to continue now. "I..um..well I wanted to tell you that I'm not going to stand for what... what you did in the elevator and I won't have you talking to me like that". My voice wavered. Great. He's not going to take me seriously now why I can't be stronger than this. Its just with him sitting there looking at me it makes me nervous. Since when does that happen?

" I thought I already apologised for what happened. I shouldn't have behaved the way I did it was totally inappropriate" he said genuinely.

"Right...well... That's fine I guess. Thanks for the apology". I responded. Thanks for the apology. I'm such an idiot.

I silently stood up and made my way out of his office. Before I closed the door he said "I'd watch that mouth of yours Ivy, could get you into a lot of trouble". Oh and were back to the Chase we all know and love. Note the sarcasm. I closed the door behind and went back to my desk. As much as I tried to focus on the emails that had to be sent and the letters that had to be typed I couldn't stop thinking about what had happened in his office.
