I would like to emphasize that this story is a SEQUEL I will be trying my best to keep it simple in terms of the plot entangled with the first book, Long Live the Queen. However, this book revolves around the continued series of events in the first installment.
This series all works together and while I think someone could read this book and get the gist, I recommend reading the first book.
However if you just can not be bothered that is okay too! I'll be giving a summary underneath this paragraph. I know it's not a common thing but I just thought it'd help.
Recap:
Malakai was liberated from a wolf pack he was enslaved at with his sister Elora and his brother Lucas. Elora's mate Demetrius released them.
Malakai is a half breed hell hound that cannot shift into his demon but light his entire body on fire and manipulate it to his liking.
While the new family is settling the council begins to target the group they are staying with.
Another Hound, Elio, forms a group. The Supernatural League, they resist the council as a man, Victor, attacks them.
Victor gets away after a final battle ensues. After a year Kai has dedicated himself to hunting down Victor for the safety of his family.
