Twelve years ago, Avatar Aang defeated Fire Lord Ozai with the help of his friends. After the war, Katara and Aang fell in love and got together. Sokka and Suki got married. Mai and Zuko also got married. Toph made up with her parents and moved to Gaoling.
Over the past twelve years, there has been an era of love and peace between the four nations. Aang and Katara have lived a peaceful life at the Southern Air Temple alongside Air Acolytes. Sokka and Suki have been living in the South Pole with Cheif Hakoda. Zuko and Mai have been running a thriving nation together. Toph has trained a new generation of Metalbenders and is taking care of her father.
While they were all kids when the war ended, they have grown into adults now. Aang and Toph are 24, Katara is 26, Suki is 27, and Sokka and Zuko are 28.
As we go through this story, we explore the Seventy Years between Avatar Aang's era and Avatar Korra. We will see new threats, the Gaang's kids, and much more.

This timescale is based on real calculations, but when the children are born is just a rough estimate. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong. Everything in my story is headcanon, but some things are based on canon events mentioned in the comics or Legend of Korra.)
