*Aang's POV*

     Early this morning, after spending about 2 weeks in Gaoling,  Zuko, Katara, Toph, and I flew off to the South Pole. 

It was so great to see Katara so happy. She hasn't seen her brother in almost 5 years, after all. 

"I can't wait to see Sokka and Suki! My dad is up there too! This is so exciting! I wonder if the Tribe looks different!" Katara beamed.

"Me too!" I said nervously.  I have to tell Sokka and Hakoda about my proposal plan. I'm excited, but also very, very scared.

*Katara's POV*

I'm SO excited to see my brother! It's been so long! I wonder if he and Suki look different! I wonder if I have any nieces or nephews! I wonder how my dad and Malina are doing!

A few hours later, I could FINALLY see the South Pole. the Water Tribe stood in the center of the pole and looked amazing. it looked so different. Soon enough, we landed in front of Sokka's home. He ran outside and tackled me into a hug.

"KATARA!!" He cried happily.

"SOKKA!" I rejoiced.

We fell into a hug and cried. Suki walked outside and hugged us, and my dad came and hugged us.  We all greeted each other and caught up.

*Zuko's POV*

As we all sat outside and caught up, a Fire Nation messenger hawk flew up to me. it landed on me and i took a letter out of its bag. it read:

     "Dear Fire Lord Zuko,

           You are needed back at the nation immediately. Since you left on your travels, several protests in Cranefish town have broken out. The Earth King has called upon you to meet with him a discuss what needs to happen and change. the people of Cranefish town have heard plans to demolish and rebuild their town, and they are not happy.  we have sent the Royal Ship your way to bring you to the Earth Kingdom.

"Guys..." I said, sadly

"What is it?" The Gang asked

"I have to go to the Earth Kingdom. Protests have broken out in Cranefish town and i have to resolve them."

"I can go with you, Zuko. As avatar, I should come and help you." Aang offered.

I can't just tear him away from his family. he has a plan to propose that im not going to ruin. 

"No, Aang. you have... things... to do here. I can handle this."

"Okay... do you need to take Appa?" he said.

"No. Im fine."

*Toph's POV*

As Zuko left, of course,w we were all sad. But we all have to accept that he has duties and Fire Lord. 

It was great to see Sokka again. ive always had a little crush on him, i have to admit. I guess things like that never go away. I'm really happy for him and Suki though. It's just hard to see someone else living your dream.

It's been really hard leaving Kanto back at home. Ever since my mom died and my dad got sick, Kanto has been the one constant in my life. I don't see the Gaang as much anymore, so being away from Kanto is difficult. I'm just trying to appreciate being with my second family and not focus on my dad. 

*Sokka's POV*

I am seriously so happy to see my family! It's sad that Zuko left, but I still get to see my sister, my brother-in-law (basically), and my best friend. It's really great that Katara is here. She can finally see all the work that me and dad have done in the past few years. We havent seen eachother since Suki and I's wedding 5 years ago. 

She's always been excited to have nieces or nephews... but i don't know if I want kids. I mean, of course I WANT kids, but I can't lose anyone else. I couldn't protect my mother from the fire nation. I couldn't protect Yue from her fate. I almost lost toph at the final battle. I can't have a child who I may not be able to protect. I would never forgive myself if anything happened to Suki or my child. I'm just not sure I can be happy with a child.

In the past 12 years, Suki has gone back and forth between Kyoshi island and here. She spent about 2 years training a new generation of Kyoshi Warriors. Now she has backed away from them, but can still be called to duty. 

I have been focused on the Southern Water Tribe. I've spent the past years bringing the tribe back to power with the Northern tribe's help. Our tribe is now thriving, and my dad is still the head chieftain. 

Our father is now in his early 60's and has retired as a warrior and spends his time running our tribe. He got married to a Northerner named Malina.

So after we all caught up for a while, the girls all headed off to hang out together and Me, Zuko, and Aang all stayed behind and talked. Aang seemed a little nervous for some reason.

"uh.. Sokka can I ask you something?" Aang said

"Yeah Aang whats up?"

"How would you feel about me proposing to Katara?"

I have been waiting for this for YEARS! FINALLY!

"YESSSSS. When??"

"Tomorrow." he said.
