"(Y/N)," Sensei called out, "This is the third time you have been spacing out this week."

Kimou-sensei had approached (Y/N)'s desk, placing her hand on the wooden material as the other was on her hip; her loud voice made (Y/N) snap back to reality.

"I-I'm really sorry sensei," she apologized quickly, bowing her head down while her hands were clasping together as if her life depended on it, "I-I've just been stressed out lately..."

Kimou-sensei sighs, shaking her head.

"Meet me in my office during lunch."

When the school bell rung, alerting everyone that it was lunch time, (Y/N) walked straight to the office.

It was compact; familiar faces around her went in and out of the area. Some had worries plastered on their face. Some were happy. Some were indescribable.

(Y/N) approached her language arts teacher, excusing herself in her presence.

"(Y/N)," Kimou-sensei says softly, "You are one of my best students. You've never had a problem in my class, so what's making you lose your focus so easily now?"

Kimou-sensei was the third year's college preparatory language arts teacher, but to (Y/N), she was like an older sister figure.

She pulls out a chair from an empty desk, placing it in front of (Y/N) so she could take a seat. (Y/N) mutters a "thank you" to her sensei before sighing. She folded her hands and set them on her lap.

"This is your last year in Karasuno, and your graduation is in one month," Kimou-sensei continued to remind (Y/N), "I don't want you to botch your application at this time. It is highly critical that you maintain your grades."

"You did get offered that scholarship, after all."

It was true.

When (Y/N) was in middle school, she had always wanted to pursue her dream of becoming a volleyball player- a famous libero for that matter.

However, that all changed quickly.

Her brother, Kageyama Tobio, was going to fulfill that dream for her. He was going to become a National-level volleyball player. That had been decided for sure at least.

But for (Y/N), she decided on something different. Something she never thought she would want to become.

She wanted to become a teacher- a literature teacher more specifically.
