[THIRD POV]
ȯ FEBRUARY
ȯ AUSTRALIAIt had been about a month since (Y/N) had filed the request to help the boys' volleyball team out, and today was the day that she was going to find out.
In her first class today, Ezra was more than ecstatic to tell (Y/N) that his coach would be in for the idea of a once superior libero help their rookie one.
And so when that happened, Ezra's full attention was on point; he asked many questions, and he fully comprehended everything.
At the end of class, (Y/N) gave them some free time, delighted to see everyone engaged in their work.
(Y/N) was grading some papers in her desk, she had found out that her students were getting used to her and her work. They found it much easier than before.
Approaching her desk was none other than Ezra himself, smiling ear-to-ear.
"Ms. (Y/N)," he said, "Has Principal Irvine said anything yet?"
"Not exactly Ezra," she answered, "Today during my lunch period, I will be seeing him finally about it."
"Does that mean any good?"
"We will see," she said, a bit anxious as well, "Ms. Stella, the math teacher, has told me that he's a stern man, so he might be opposed to the idea."
"Our coach, believe it or not, is good friends with Principal Irvine, so I think he might consider it."
"Keyword, Ezra, might."
"Ms. (Y/N)," he whined, "I thought you were all in for this."
"I am," she replied, "But if Principal Irvine says I cannot help you guys, then I cannot help."
Sighing to himself, he could only agree. "Fine; we'll just have to find some way for you to help Eddy."
He went back to his seat to talk with his friends about the issue; that particular group of boys- Ezra, Cimmerian, Valentino, and Xai, had all grown on (Y/N). They appreciated her efforts in trying to help them achieve something greater, and (Y/N) admired their perseverance and how they were all men of their word.
The bell rang and the students left her classroom, bidding a farewell; Ezra and his group of friends all gave (Y/N) some luck with her meeting with Principal Irvine.
Gathering her things, she had to make her way to the administrative halls; her meeting with the principal was going to determine whether or not she could help their volleyball team.
Entering his office, she is called into his room; she sits down on a leather chair, placing her things down. She rested her hands on her lap, smoothing out her grey pencil skirt.
