[THIRD POV]
ȯ JANUARY, ONE DAY BEFORE (Y/N) STARTS HER MOCK TEACHING
ȯ AUSTRALIA(Y/N) gets unpacks the final box, the dreaded box of clothes that she has to sort out.
Sitting on her floor, she places a hanger on the shirts and tops while folding the other article of clothing's neatly, placing them in the drawer beside her.
"Moving is tough when you're all alone..."
It's been a few days since she's returned to Australia, and things have been quiet.
She texted Kei a few days ago, but he hadn't been replying consistently; he apologized, saying school is starting up again and that the rest of his winter break consisted of volleyball practice.
She missed him a lot, but she too was also busy.
(Y/N) sighed, looking at the time. It was 20:08, and tomorrow she was going to start her mock teaching at the high-school known as Brisbrowe High.
Brisbrowe high was like Shiratoriza and Aoba Johsai combined; both had rigorous athletic programs, and since it was mostly a sports school, however, the academics of the students there were seen more poor than other schools since the school focused on athleticism.
Granted, this is the school where people like (Y/N) would help them raise their grades up. Tomorrow she would be assigned to a certain group of students and would help them survive the rest of their high-school year.
"I should go to bed soon," she yawned, placing the clothes in the closet, "I have to wake up early tomorrow."
(Y/N) had to be in the school by six in the morning; this was because so the staff could give her a quick tour and a description of her class. Since her schedule at the school was still undetermined, things would go light for the first week since it was the school's fault for not being organized.
Folding the last cardboard box away, (Y/N) went to her dresser, where she opened her jewelry box, gifted by her one and only boyfriend, Kei.
Inside, she placed the charm bracelet, her promise ring, and the necklace; all given to her by Kei. She decided to not wear any jewelry while she slept because she was scared they were going to be misplaced somewhere as she moved around a lot while sleeping.
Closing the box, she moves her attention to the fish bowl. The two fish, with the names Kei and (Y/N), were swimming happily. (Y/N) actually bought some decorations for them a few days ago, and now the tank was filled with fake seaweed and a small heart sculpture.
The fish themselves were pretty old, given that it's been nearly a year since Kei received them, so (Y/N) expected the fish to soon pass, but it didn't mean she hoped they did.
