it was pouring outside. it had been 5 days since she hadn't come to the café. maybe she just comes at another hour, or she doesn't like this place anymore. i pushed aside every thought of her and ordered my much needed coffee.
about ten minutes later, the door of the shop opened and a costumer came in. it was her. a little smile made its way on to my face, i couldn't really help it. you could say that i missed seeing her, hearing her voice...
as she made her way to the counter i took a close look at her. she was soaked wet from the rain but she didn't quite look like herself. she looked tired and sick, with dark circles under her eyes and a hollow face. had she been eating? was she sick? i couldn't help but worry a little bit, maybe it was just stress? i told myself.
after maybe an hour she got up from her table and walked to the door, it was still raining outside and she didn't seem to have an umbrella. i don't know what came over me but without realizing it i was quickly making my way up to her. i tapped her shoulder and pointing at my umbrella i said
