after that day, i tried becoming closer with her. it took a whole month for her to start talking to me, usually i would sit with her and ask her things and try making conversations with her but she would only give short answers, not even daring to look at me.
i understood her a lot actually, she told me she didn't actually have friends. she tried to but everyone at her ballet company seemed to hate her. i told her that they were just envious of her but she just let out a bitter laugh. something similar had happened to me when i first started being a trainee, no one wanted to talk to me so i felt really lonely but thankfully that changed and i managed to make some good friends at my company.
i could see clearly that yeona was going through a tough time, but every time i would try to talk to her about it she would just say it's nothing i have to worry about or she would just change the subject.
sometimes i just wish i could see what's inside her head.
