We came home about twenty minutes later and Lisa and I went to my room after we said good night to Luke. He seemed a bit disappointed but still went with it and decided to take a shower.
Now Lisa and I were sitting on my bedroom floor with a bunch of unhealthy snacks at 4:30 am and laughed at the stupidest things. We weren't drunk anymore and it was a good thing that neither of us had a hangover.
"I'm really glad you moved to San Fran!" Lisa said and threw a piece of chips into her mouth.
"I'm still not sure if I'm glad or not." I admitted.
"Why not? The best party life is exactly here! And I'm here!" Lisa yelled and I shushed her, laughing.
"I know, that's part of the pros." I smiled.
"And what are the cons?" Lisa made a curious expression.
"Luke." I said quietly, skipping the part the he is also the biggest part of the pros.
"I figured, but I don't think so." Lisa smiled, throwing some chips directly at my face.
I looked at her confusedly and she continued.
"You didn't seem to act like you don't like him." She said. "At the club? And on the ride home."
I thought about it. I just didn't want him to start a fight at the club. And on the ride home we all just laughed. Maybe Lisa meant something else that I didn't notice I was doing.
"It would be bad if he beat the shit out of Harry though. We would all be at the station right now." she thought out loud, looking at the ceiling.
"I've never seen Luke fighting." I admitted and blushed at the thought of a pissed off Luke.
"Girlfriend, trust me, it's better if you don't." Lisa stood up to throw the empty bag of chips in the trashcan.
"Why?" I asked, suddenly wanting to know what that looks like.
"It's never nice to see someone fighting, and the way Luke gets caught up and angry... It's even worse." Lisa shrugged and left my room, probably going to the kitchen.
I stayed in the same spot she left me, still thinking about what we've just talked about.
Few minutes after, Lisa came back with two glasses of water and sat back to her spot, handing me one of the glasses.
"Thanks." I said, taking the glass from her. "So how come Luke's in your apartment? Do you know him for a long time?" I decided I'd finally ask, not being able to hold in my curiosity anymore.
"Yeah, Michael introduced us when we were still kids." Lisa explained and I was surprised Luke's never come up in a conversation between Lisa and I before.
"You know Michael?" I asked, surprised. I thought Michael didn't have any girl friends. And especially ones that he introduced to his friends?
But then again, I know nothing about Michael except his bad reputation. I shouldn't judge so hard. That's all I ever do, I judge. I judged Luke, I judge Michael. I even starting judging Calum ever since he's told me he hung out with them.
"Michael used to be my best friend." Lisa said quietly and looked down at her hands. I realized Michael means a lot to her and concluded he's changed just like Luke, which made Lisa sad.
"Why are they both such jerks?" I asked quietly, not meaning to sound mean or harsh. I was just honestly wondering.
"I don't blame them. I'm surprised Luke's even opened up to you." Lisa said and I looked at her.
