"Everything is settled. Don't worry, Flaviel." Ford assures me on the phone for the millionth time.

I take my Ray-Ban aviators off and crowned it on my head as the airport staff helped me with my luggages.

"I trust everything in you, brother. You've been loyal to me." I let out a dramatic chuckle that made Ford hiss. "Alright, I'm about to check-in already."

"Have a safe flight home..."

The call ended and I slid my phone inside the pocket of my loose denim jeans.

Upon entering the airport, my eyes darted to the noisy crowd of people on the way. Ninoy Aquino International Airport always seems jumbled and full. But today, it's even worse.

Almost all of them that I see were bringing cameras, blocking me while running around and rowdily screaming.

My irritation occured. They are unbelievable.

"Sorry for the inconvenience, ma'am." A staff said when he noticed my immediate irritation. "A group of celebrities are arriving from overseas."

My brows raised.

Fans and the media can just roam around while waiting for their idols inside the airport, huh? I know the media. It's their job. But they don't even have flights so they should know their place, at least.

I'd finished checking in with my luggages and I have an hour left for my flight. Another staff is leading me to the lounge right now while the crowd of people remained scattering on the way.

My head heated when a group of girls bumped on me without even looking back! So unbelievable.

These people are causing such a nuisance to the customers. Do they know that they are the reason why it gets even hotter here amidst the airport's ventilation?

Philippines has a very warm air even in Januarys and Febuarys. Damn, I can't believe I even lasted a month here. Although I don't know if it's a good thing that I'm coming back home now.

My vacation here in the Philippines after everything that's happened was exactly just the rest I needed. My mother's family took care of me. Beaches, mountains, nature activities and a lot of time to reflect alone were my everyday itinerary for a month. I stopped myself from using the internet and focused on taking more memories.

It made me breathe again. Just—not the same air of hope and bliss as before. But at least, my whole stay here in my mother's birth land made me feel better for a while.

"Ahhh! They're here!!!" A scream echoed as I passed the arrival area.

The guy staff with me asked the storming crowd around us to stay on their lane. He excused us in the most polite way but the fans and media were starting to clutter.

It was when I saw a fan bringing something purple. Then I realized they were all bringing something purple.

I froze on my spot. My hands started to get cold.

"Oh my gosh! Let's go nearer!"

"Shit! I'm gonna die if I don't see them!"

They're screams blurred in my ears.

It was then chaotic. Overly chaotic.

The same time passengers rushed out of the airplane discharge, the automatic shrieks of unbelievable fans filled the airport and camera shutters clicked so fast.

I was there to walk by. But people mercilessly ran on me until we can hardly pass through them.

My eyes started to heat for some reason.
