'Skinny Love' - Erik Durm

It was a regular Friday night that you planned on spending with your best friend Erik Durm. Yes,he was your best friend. You knew eachother since you were little kids and you were always really close. You were secretly in love with him,but you were too afraid to admit it to him so you don't ruin your long-term friendship. You always had a feeling he thought of you as a sister and nothing more,so you lost hope that he would ever feel anything more towards you. Like you did towards him.

That Friday,you were planning for a Movie night. You made some popcorn, bought some juice and sodas,made pancakes and borrowed some of yours and Erik's favourite movies.

It was nine o'clock and you were expecting him soon.
He didn't even knock on the door,he just came into your living room and gave you a big bear hug. You were that close.

-So,are we going to start? -he asked with a cheeky smile plastered on his face.
-You choose the first one,Durm.
-Hmm okay. What do we have here...? -he was looking at the offered movies and picked... -I want to watch something scary,so... "As Above,So Below"?
-Okay,sure.
-Turn off the lights. I like it when it's darker. -he smiled again.

You sat a little bit further on the sofa as the movie started,but Erik grabbed your hand and pulled you closer to him. Your head was on his chest,his hand was around your waist and it was driving you crazy. You could hear his heartbeats,feel his breath, touch him and you were so close to just jumping and kissing him.

The movie was half away and you were scared to death. Suddenly,you grabbed Erik's hand and squeezed it,and he squeezed back. You looked in his eyes and caught him already looking at you. He smiled,you smiled.

-You scared,Kiki?
-No... I'm just... Nervous.
-No,admit it! You're scared!
-Okay,okay,I got scared,jeez!
-You're so adorable when you're scared.

His words made you blush.

-Oh,stop it.

He started gently poking your cheeks.

-Erik,what are you doing? Stooop. -you were laughing together.
-Your cheeks are red and so cute.
-My cheeks are cute?
-Oh,you know what I mean..
-Okay,okay,Durm. I know. Jeez,you're such a tease.
-And you like it.
-Well... I kind of do.
-What does that mean?
-Erik, I can't hold it in anymore,I need to tell you something. -you turned the lights on and started admitting your feelings. - I like you. I like you a lot. I like you for two years now and I can't control my feelings anymore. I was always afraid you would hate me if I admit all of this,but... I'm in love with my best friend.

-Wow,I... I never knew you felt this way. -he sighed of relief.
-What? What does that sigh mean?
-That's great,Kiki. I'm glad you like me.
-And that's it? You're not going to say anything else? - you got up and started walking towards the kitchen. -Actually,it's okay, I knew you would never lik... -he cut you off:
-But you never let me finish. -he grabbed your hand. - I wanted to say something else.
I like you too,Kiki. Actually,no. I don't like you,I love you. I have loved you for six years. And I was afraid you would never love me back. I love everything about you. And I want to spend the rest of my life with you. First,as your boyfriend,then husband and the father of our children. Tell me I'm crazy,but that's all I've been thinking about for the last few years.

His words made you cry. You kissed him gently on the lips and he kissed you back. It was magical. You felt so happy and relieved. You felt loved.
