Marion

"Princess, did you hear me?", Lucas, one of my mother's millions of ministers, asks me for the fifth time. I yawn loudly and look at him. He raises one of his eyebrows and I realize he asked me a question. "Oh Lucas! What's the use of all this discussion about our enemies when we can just burn them to ash? ", I summon a ball of fire to my hand and grin at him. "But- princess , Your Highness-""You Highness sends me to all these discussions because she won't be able to sit through it Lucas. You out of everyone should know it". At this, he smiles a little. Lucas, he is a man in his mid-thirties . He loves Terassen and he is one of the closest ministers to my mother, the Queen of Terassen , Aelin Ashryver Whitethorn Galathynius. I remember seeing my mother attending all these meetings and discussion and I don't know somehow one day I ended up attending one meeting and that's been continuing. I yawn again. "These 17 year olds are such a lazy ass", I look around and my face immediately lights up with joy to see Aunt Manon in front of me with her iron nails and teeth equipped. I get up from my chair and tackle her into a big hug. I look behind, "Isn't Uncle Dorian here?", I ask her. "No, he is busy with his left hand in command. So I thought I would take Arbraxos to a tiny ride. Dorian did send his hugs and kisses for you", and she winks at me. I chuckle. "Princess, will you excuse me? You can spend some time with your Aunt-", Lucas starts but "Whom did you call an Aunt? I ain't so old for you to call me Aunty okay?", I giggle. Lucas looks like he is trying hard not to puke and I burst out laughing. "Well... Hello there witchling", Aelin calls from behind. She is wearing one of her elegant turquoise gown, her hair is open and a part of her tattoo on her back is exposed. Just behind I can see my father, Rowan Whitethorn Galathynius. His white hawk hair bound with a rubber band. He is wearing his formal clothes which proves he just came back the war room. There isn't any war still a war council every week. Such dramatics

On seeing my mom and dad Lucas immediately falls to one of his knees , my mother nods and Lucas stands up again. Both my mom and dad had announced that they don't need people to bow in front of them, they just need loyalty for them to stand beside Terassen and aid it whenever needed. Yet everyone would bow when me, my mom and dad would pass them. I sigh. Lucas leaves the room unnaturally pale and Manon exposes her iron teeth in a hideous smile which makes Lucas flinch. Me and my mom look at each other and we both stiffle down our laugh. "So, Manon...How's Asterin Blackbeak Havilliard doing?", my mom asks and my heart misses a beat. Asterin Blackbeak Havilliard! I jerk my heard towards my Aunt and she smiles. "Oh my God  Aunt Manon!! You had a babyy!! Oh My God I am so happy !! Why didn't you bring her here?" I ask her unable to contain my excitement. "Well you see, Dorian said that he wanted to prove that he can keep Asterin safe for a day without getting into trouble", she says and whispers to my ears, "And he said if he wins he could do whatever he wants with me in bed", she winks at me. My dad chokes a bit. "Terrestrial fae-bastard", my mom says with a grin. "Well I think I will go meet Elide, Aelin....Please tell me Lorcan is busy somewhere", at this we all laugh together. Manon excuses herself and I am left with my family. "So how did the meeting go my Fiery?", dad asks me. He calls my mom Fireheart and me fiery because I got her fire powers, "Well the usual, he went on talking gibberish about millions of affairs going outside the state , inside the state , future affairs that might go on in State, and even affairs of such States that don't even exist.", I say and sigh. My father looks as if he is going to have that conversation again about how I should pay attention to these but my mom saves me. "Today we are to introduce the court to the new way of administration Marion, we want you to be there with us and we will also announce the venue of your coronation", Aelin tells me and smiles pride shining in her eyes. I straighten my back and say, "Well what are we waiting for? I need to look ravishing!", I wink at her and walk out of the room. My fae ears catch her words , "Buzzard I am proud of our daughter" "Me too Fire-heart, me too."
