Marion

"The green or the blue one?", I ask Aunt Lysandra for the millionth time. She giggles and rolls on the bed in a certain ass up position that appears to be very comfortable. "I think the green one is better", she says to me. I look at the sea-green dress. This dress was gifted to me by Aelin last year on my 16th fae-birthday. The frills of the sleeves are fluorescent green in color and there is a golden ribbon through the waist. The gown is made of silk and parts of it are made of the exclusive spider-silk. I hold up the cloth on my hand. It's soft as butter and it shines like the wide blue ocean. "It will certainly look good on you Marion", someone says from behind. I turn around and find Uncle Aedion standing there, the legendary Damaris on his waist-belt. I walk upto him and hug him tightly. "How's the Princess doing?", he asks me. "Oh well I have been trying to spoil her you know.", Lysandra tells and winks at me, I wink back. Uncle Aedion facepalms. "Well...I think I should go get ready Aunt Lysandra. See ya!", I tell her and make my over to the door. While I am halfway through to my chambers, Aunt Elide calls me from behind. Before she can make her way to me I trace back my steps and reach her. She is having a baby after all. I look behind her hoping to find Uncle Lorcan but there is no one here. "You see Manon is here, Lorcan found himself busy with armies", she whispers to me. I giggle a bit and ask her, "How's the baby?", I ask her. "Oh it's grand!", she tells me pride dancing in her eyes. I remember seeing Uncle Lorcan crying with joy when he got the news. All of us were very happy and my mother rushed to their chambers in her nightgown on hearing the news at the middle of the night, with my dad running behind telling her to wear at least a cloak. It was just a few months back and now her belly is so big. Just a few weeks baby.

I can't wait to meet you baby

Aunt Elide extends her hands and in them is a medium-sized golden crown with blue saphire in it's center. It has got sliver freckles and three orange rubies on either side of the big blue sapphire. It's just beautiful. She places the crown on my head and before I can say anything she replies, "Aelin and Rowan had specially made this crown for you. You are supposed to wear it.", I am dumbfound. What a beautiful crown it is! I can see water in Aunt Elide's eyes and I hold her hand, "I want this to tell you first because it is after your mother I am named. I promise to serve Terassen, to save it from it's foe, and aid it in times of need. I will be willing to lay down my own life to see my other mother, Terassen safe and happy.", I was surprised as it was not me but an heir who spoke. I thank her and make my way back to my chambers. One of maids tell me that Valerie, my attendant will be here soon to dress me up. I look at the massive mirror in my room. I am in a pale green grown with the crown on my brow. I look at my reflection and see the white long hair I got from my father and ashryver eyes from my mother. Ashryver Eyes The fairest eyes, from legends old Of brightest blue, ringed with gold Bright blue eyes, ringed with gold. I whisper to my own reflection, "I , heir of Terassen, daughter of Aelin Whitethorn Galathynius and Rowan Galathynius Whitethorn; and I will not be afraid." I keep my gown which I was to wear to the Court today safely on the bed and look outside but I find no Valerie there. What's taking her so long?? I look around a bit and start walking towards the opposite narrow hallway , to check on the other side when I suddenly fall through a dark hole on the velvety carpet of the ground and am immediately knocked out.
