Chapter 14 Hope lost

A long time ago in a galaxy far,far away

Taking a risk can end in victory or failure

Kix had no time to inspect the chip as he either had to work hard at a computer or he was on the front lines doing back to back battles and with the outer rim sieges only just beginning he is struggling to find time to do anything but fight. As the final battle on Anaxes was going on and with Echo rescued Kix didn't take part in the final battle of Anaxes. Instead he was placed on a medical transport which was meant to head to a medical centre nearby Coruscant. As he was getting on the ship to leave he heard one of his brothers call his name.

"Hey Kix".

The medic turned and saw his arc trooper brother running towards him. Kix smirked at Jesse as the arc stopped infront of him "sorry you can't help in the final battle I was hoping for you to see the end of this battle as it has gone on for so long". Kix rolled his eyes "well it just means I won't die at least not on this battle as we head closer to the end" Kix reassured Jesse and Jesse smiled at his brother as the shook hands one last time.

"Good luck brother" Jesse spoke.

Kix sighed "you too, and bring it hope for us".

Kix went up the steps onto the ship giving one more hopeful smile at Jesse and then he was off.

The medial transport took off and Kix cared for the wounded they all mourned in pain but after 4 hours the moaning died down and Kix went into another room to finally rest. As he laid back on his chair he turned his attention to the computer ready to work but he stopped himself. He put his fist up to his mouth as he looked on at the screen the white light beaming onto his face. He pulled out the chip from his medical bag he still didn't know of the chip could be used against the Jedi or if it was just to help them be less aggressive but Kix didn't feel aggressive at any point since he had taken it out. He stared at the chip he fighting mentally wether he should just skip the work and look into the chip or if he should just get on with the work.

Deep down he was scared of what he would find in the chip but if he wants to save everyone then he must do this. It's a lot of responsibility to put on a clones shoulders but one Kix can take care off.

He placed the chip underneath a scanner which could look into the details of what the chip was made up of and what was possible inside it. This was mainly used in droid's but it worked for the inhibitor chip. All of the details about the chip came up on the screen and Kix rested is chin on his left hand while his other one went through his slowly growing black hair which was not as tall as he brothers but it was getting there. Kix looked through what the chip was made up of until finally the chip showed all the data that was in it.

He read through as it had many orders such as order 1,2,3,4 and so on.

But one in particular caught Kix's eye.

"Order 65, the supreme commander of the grand army and an office held by Palpatine during the war, if unfit for duty, and if clone forces directly receive order 65, then the army is immediately or if needed kill the Chancellor, following this, command of the grand army of the republic would be given to the acting Chancellor until a stable replacement could be chosen" Kix muttered to himself

As he scrolled one down his eyes widened as he read the next order.

"Order 66, in the event that Jedi officers are acting against the interests of the republic and after receiving specific orders verified as coming directly from the supreme commander, Gar commanders will remove those officers by lethal force and command of the GAR will revert to the supreme commander until a new command structure is established" Kix read it all in awe as he slowly came to the realisation that Fives was right.

All of a sudden the door opened and Kix looked immediately to see a male Kaminoan walk into the room with a angered expression on his face. Kix stood up from his chair and took a defensive position. "CT-6116 I'm afraid that your little investigation is over, the separatists are you" the Kaminoan spoke in its normal solemn voice and Kix's eyes widened he couldn't loose this information, not yet, not when he had come so far. He pulled a blaster pistol out of his medical bag as the Kaminoan rushed towards him to stop him but he fired the blast first killing the Kaminoan. All of a sudden the room turned red with an alarm, they were being breached Kix heard firing begin and he grabbed the chip and rushed towards the door but before he could get there a group of commando droid's came in and fired at Kix as everything went black.

Kix woke up he was breathing heavily as he was chained up his arms and legs stuck in binders against the wall he looked around and saw no one until a slow pair of footsteps made their way towards him.In walked the separatist leader himself "Count Dooku" Kix spat and the former Jedi smiled at his prisoner.

"I would not get to aggressive if I were you as there is only one reason your alive and that's to see if anyone else knows our little secret".

"The secret to destroy the Jedi" Kix hissed and Dooku chuckled.

"I'm assuming your friend CT-5555 told you a little bit and you began an investigation well just in case we want to know if you have told anyone else CT-6116"

"Kix, my name is Kix" the clone trooper shouted and Dooku laughed.

"You alone don't matter, as long as we have the entire army on our side then you don't matter" Count growled "now you will tell me did you tell anyone".

Kix just stared at the sith apprentice and Dooku sent a powerful amount of force lightening his way which burnt Kix and made him scream out in pain "aaarrrggghhh". Dooku stopped the lightening as the heat left Kix's body and his head hung low "until you tell me, this torture will carry on" Kix looked up at his for again and spat in his direction and Dooku shook his head "that is no way to treat your one day ruler". The lightening began again more painful then before.

2 weeks later

Kix was still being tortured and he barely managed to keep the secret away from them luckily Dooku left after the 3rd day so it was just now magna guards but Kix was being sent to Dooku's home planet for more intense interrogation so Kix was frozen and the separatist dreadnought took off. After only 10 minutes of departing the ship was attacked by a republic ambush and the dreadnought had taken heavy damage.

"We can't win make an escape to hyperspace" the battle droid commander ordered.

"To where" a battle droid shouted back.

"Anywhere" the Commander snarled and with that the battle droid put in some random coordinates and made a jump to hyperspace but the ship soon after came out of hyperspace and the engines were destroyed so the ship came crashing down onto the planet Ponorma where Kix stayed frozen for 50 years and he would finally emerge in 31bby.
