"I'm going to tell you guys a story about two brother's." All Might stated as he stood in front of the large group in the dorm common room. "But what I say, must never be told to anybody, ever." He warned, causing concern to wash over the student's faces.

"Think of this as your first assignment as an actual pro, keeping your mouths shut." Aizawa said with a bored tone. Every person in the class room nodded their heads in understanding before turning back to All Might.

"There were two brothers a long time ago. One was extremely powerful and on top of the world. He wanted to rise to power with his brother." He started as he watched every student listen intensely. "The other brother was quirkless, or so they thought. His brother, also known as All for One, gave him a quirk that allowed him to stockpile energy." Everybody gasped when they heard the name of the villain Midoriya had just defeated. "Turns out, the other brother wasn't quirkless at all. He in fact had a quirk that let him pass on other quirks. One brother could take and one brother could give. All for One used many quirks and people to keep him alive for way too many years." He said with a scoff as he made sure he still had everyone's attention.

"The other brother, known as One for All, passed his quirk on when he was nearing his death. One for All is a quirk that has been passed on for generations, but it doesn't come without a price. The person who wields One for All had the burden of reluctantly taking down All for One." Todoroki averted his eyes towards Midoriya, connecting the pieces. The wielder of One for All gets to pick the next person to inherit that quirk." He explained as he received several looks of confusion. "I'm sure you are wondering why we are telling you this."

"We would be lying if we said we weren't." Ashido replied as she nervously scratched the back of her head.

"How does One for All pass on quirks? Like All for One took them?" Iida questioned as he shot his hand into the air.

"No, they give somebody a part of their DNA." He replied. "You could trade have open wounds touch.." his voice trailed off as he looked towards Bakugo and Midoriya. "Or you could have someone eat your hair or drink your blood. This quirk can not be stolen. It has to be given willingly." He said aloud, answering Iida's next question. Mean while, Kirishima was putting the pieces to together as his hand flew to his pocket, feeling the vile of hair Midoriya had given him. His eyes widened in realization before All Might's voice rang out once more.

"I was born quirkless." All Might said aloud. The room was filled with soft voices as the students began to whisper to each other after the shocking news.

"Quiet." Aizawa said loudly with a warning tone.

"S-so you're quirk was One for All?" Uraraka questioned.

"Yes." He replied quietly.

"B-but you retired.. so you don't have it anymore?" Kaminari choked out.

"N-no. I passed it on the morning of the entrance exam." He said as his eyes flickered to the clearly nervous Midoriya.

"T-to who?" Yaoyorozu choked out, although most of the class already knew the answer.

"To Izuku Midoriya." All Might replied with a small smile. All eyes turned towards the freckled man who stared to the ground. What was he supposed to say in this situation?

"S-so Deku?" Uraraka began towards her best friend. "Y-you were born quirkless?" She asked in shock. Midoriya's heart fell to his stomach as he blushed red in embarassaement.

"N-not exactly." He replied nervously while he stood up and faced the group. "I was born with the combustion quirk you guys saw in Hosu. It was stolen from me before it fully developed. So I grew up thinking I was quirkless my entire life." He said with a frown as he recalled most of his childhood.

"So All Might pretty much paved the road for you to be the number one hero?" Todoroki questioned as he clenched his fists in anger. A lot of things were starting to make more sense now.

"No." All Might said with anger before the green haired man had the chance to reply. "I gave him a quirk, which is something all of you already had." He pointed out. "I gave him the materials to pave his own road." He said as he flashed a sad smile towards the freckled man. "He could have actually chose to be a villain with that quirk. He could have chose to be a support or rescue hero. He could have chose to drop out and not be a hero at all. I put him at the starting line. I gave a kid with a lot of potential something that everyone else has. I gave him a chance. What he does with that quirk, is up to him. Not me, not you, not anybody."

"Midoriya actually had to work harder than anybody to train that quirk his body was foreign to. Which is why he breaks his bones. He can't control it. He works harder than most of you just to not break his body. You guys have your whole lives to train your quirks, he has three years. So don't think he has it easy, he has it the hardest." Aizawa lectured. The class grew silent upon hearing All Might and Aizawa's speeches.

"Midoriya took on the roll and continued to fight All for One. He even went undercover. He knew there was always a chance that he might not come out of that alive, but he did it anyway. I don't know anybody more suitable for the damn quirk then that idiot." Bakugo pouted slightly as he stuck up for his boyfriend.

"Did you just call him by his actual name?" Kirishima questioned in disbelief as he looked to his best friend.

"I-I do in rare occasion." Bakugo stuttered as his face turned bright red. "This is one of those occasions." He spat as he looked to the ground.

"So what would have happened if Deku did die?" Uraraka questioned as she looked to All Might and Midoriya. "Does One for All die?"

"Yes."

"No."

All Might looked to Midoriya in confusion.

"Yes young Midoriya. It does die if you don't pass it on. Even if you temporarily gave it to Dabi, Bakugo and myself, you are still the holder. We all would have lost that."

"But I did pass it on, he just didn't except it." Midoriya smirked as he turned towards Kirishima. "Do you still have that vile I gave you?" He asked. The red head didn't respond as he stood from his seat and dug his hand into his pocket. He pulled out the vile while walking towards Midoriya. "Thank you." The green haired man said with a smile as he walked towards Dabi. "Can I have some flames?" He asked as he took the lid off. Dabi already knew what he was planning, so he provided without question. When there was a small fire in his hand, Midoriya dumped the contents into the fire, watching his hair burn.

"You chose Shitty Hair?" Bakugo questioned in shock. "I was sure you would have chose glasses."

"Iida was a great choice, but Kirishima can go into anything with a wide smile. He has a calming demeanor. I truly believe he would have been the best person for One for All." Midoriya said as he smiled towards the red head. Kirishima couldn't think of the right words to say as he flashed a goofy grin.

"So what quirks do you have now?" Mineta questioned.

"Just One for All and All for One." Midoriya replied as he looked towards his Role Model. "When the time comes, One for All will be passed on to the next person. However All for One will die with me."
