Living With My Cousin

The next morning

I begrudgingly opened my eyes and reached for my phone as I blinked my eyes to adjust to the morning... light? A face of confusion made its way to my face as I looked at the time, 6:30 AM.

I looked up from my phone and noticed it wasn't the morning light that woke me up but the fact that I fell asleep with my light on.

I slowly pulled myself up stretching my body as I was doing so. Swinging my legs over and standing up I felt my head spin. Standing still with my eye clenched and clutching my head I wait a few seconds till it went away.

After it went away I walked down the hall and down the stairs to the kitchen. I flipped up the lights and went to the coffee maker to make my self a hot cocoa. I know, I make hot cocoa in a coffee maker but if there is a little coffee stuck in the maker from the pod it adds a nice flavor. Anyways as my drink was brewing I grabbed the whipped cream and dark chocolate swirl topping. As I turned around away from the refrigerator my heart jumped.

"Yah! Don't scare me like that!" I hollered.

"Yah," Yoongi mocked me. "Don't 'Yah!' me child!"

I giggled at him. "What are you doing up?" I questioned.

"I was in the studio and heard someone up, and before you start being like your cousin, I was slightly asleep." Yoongi answered.

I grabbed my chocolate from the machine and grabbed an extra two cups. I ran a small cycle to clean the machine from the cocoa then grabbed a coffee pod for a sleepy cat.

I looked back to him and saw his eyes light up as he looked towards me. Soon enough the  cup was ready and I handed it to him. I put the rest of my toppings and milk into the cocoa and it was ready to drink. I looked to the clock and saw that is was only 6:45. Yoongi and I brought our mugs to the couch and sat next to each other. Yoongles grabbed the blanket from the back of the couch and put it over our legs.
