Chapter 8. I'm sorry.

"Jake, I'm sorry! I just, it's a long story. But you need to come do my house and talk to me. Please don't ignore me. I'm sorry I ran out on you, I was scared. I need to tell you something." Aria said into the phone.

"Okay Aria, I'll be there soon. But I need to tell you something too." Jake said nervously to her.

- 1 hour later -

*knock knock*

"Hey, uh come in." Aria said moving aside for Jake to come in.

"uh hey, so Aria, I'm just going to say this; I'm sorry but while you've been avoiding me for the past couple of days, I've been kinda seeing this other girl. Her names Camille, I'm sorry Aria. But it's over, I feel like you haven't moved on from you ex. I remember when we ran into him one day, and I saw the way you looked at him and-." Aria cut him off.

"Jake I'm not mad, I guess this wasn't meant to be. I need to move on, but I can't. And you saw that when no one else did. I'm sorry too Jake, I should have known." Aria said with a sad tone.

"Well I got to go, I guess I'll see you around." Jake said. "And don't worry about it."

"uh yeah, see you around." Aria said smiling.

"goodbye Aria." he said kissing her cheek.

"how did that work out so well?" Aria said to herself when Jake left.

the first thing she did was hopped into her car to tell Ezra the news. She couldn't be happier, -A finally left Ezra alone.

That's when her phone beeped.

Aria, Aria, Aria, you lied to me! You were supposed to figure out what Ezra's hiding. I'll give you awhile to figure it out, because it won't be too easy bitch. Tick tock! Kisses

Aria zoomed off to Ezra's house, what could be so bad? What the heck is he hiding from me? She thought to herself.

The drive felt like forever. Even if this secret or whatever he has hurts me, I don't want him to get hurt. she told herself.

She finally got to apartment 3B, she knocked on Ezra's door, and some lady answered.

"Um hi, who are you?" The woman asked.

"Um, is Ezra there?" Aria asked avoiding her question.

She was tall and skinny with bleach blonde hair and lose curls, and- oh crap she recognized this girl, the girl who lip locked Caleb.

"um yeah he's in the shower." She said confused.

"Ez! There's some girl at the door looking for you.." she said the last part coldly.

"Could you just tell Ezra I stopped by? actually no, just tell him I say; you two have a hell of a time!" Aria screamed storming off.

Who was this bitch stealing boyfriend girl?

Aria headed to Hanna's house too explain what just happened when her phone buzzed.

She expected it to be -A and rub it in her face, but it was Ezra.

Ezra; Did you jut stop by?

Me; does it matter?

Ezra; what do you mean?

Aria just decided to ignore his texts, she started the car and sped her way through town.

She was mad that Ezra would do this to her, he lied, he didn't love her. She was going to his apartment so they could be together, so she could tell him the good news. He would pick her up and spin her around. But that wasn't going to happen now. This is reality, she had to get used to things not going her way.

She remembered an old text from -A

*flashback*

-Ezra had just told Aria about Jackie.-

"Aria, that was then, you, are very much now." he said wiping a tear away from her face with his thumb.

Ezra fell asleep while she made 'masks' out of paper bags. While she was making them her phone went off. The text was from -A.

She opened the text message from -A, it said;

Maybe things are over with Jackie and Ezra, but that doesn't mean he doesn't have feelings for her. who knows? They could get back together. Sorry Aria, things don't always go your way. Kisses,

Aria's phone vibrated, 1 unread text message from a blocked number, and one from Ezra.

She ignored Ezra's text and opened -A's.

Awe poor Aria! I told you he was hiding something. Sad you had to figure out that way. Sorry princess but things don't always go your way! kisses,

Aria closed her eyes, her vision got blurry from her teary eyes, -A's text distracted her. Before she knew it she collided with a car coming from her right side.
