the doors burst open to the hospital and Liam gasped, "how the fuck-what the hell?!" Calum sobbed, "Evie?" Thalia gasped, "WHAT?!" i covered my hand over my mouth as we saw a blood covered Evelyn and Zack come in on stretchers. "how the hell are they alive?" Ashton muttered shocked.
"we all saw him slice her throat..." Calum muttered shock evident in his voice but also happiness. we all choked out sobs as the doctor glanced over at us and came over as another doctor worked on the other survivors, "you know them?" we all nodded, "Evelyn is Calum's girlfriend and Zack we saved from another house."
"he's out friend." Liam muttered. the doctor nodded, "somehow they both survived, Evelyn is in critical condition but somehow he didnt kill her." i ran my hand over my hair, "he sliced her throat how the hell is she alive?" the doctor sighed, "she has no laceration on her throat, he might've made it seem like he did. the guy was psychotic in 2001 and he didnt change anything, he did this back then too."
"great." we all muttered as Thalia groaned, "so he made it seem like he killed her but didnt?" the doctor nodded, "thats my guess, he did stab her though. Zack he's just badly beaten with some stab wounds." Nick groaned, "none of us saw him go down." i nodded, "we heard him but we didnt see it..Evelyn we all saw." i knew we were all trying to remember that situation when he killed Evelyn but none of us could, it was hazy because of the adrenaline running through all of our veins.
once they stabilized Evelyn and Zack, they let Calum go in first since he was dating Evelyn. the rest of us stayed in Thalia's room since the doctors didnt seem to care that there was a bunch of people in her room, Nick and Liam were in visiting Zack.
"how is she alive?" Carson muttered. "i cant remember that..." Thalia muttered. "i cant either, its like a haze." i muttered. "all we know is he grabbed her and cut her throat....but how did he make it seem like he did it?" Thalia sighed, "he could've used the non-sharp end of the knife and made the motion of it, we all ran as soon as we saw that so none of us would see the blood..."
"that actually makes since...somehow." Emily muttered. i sat in the chair with my head in my hands, "so Zack and Evelyn are alive..." Thalia sniffled, "my brother's still dead.." i grabbed her hand and squeezed it, "i know. they have Tessa with your step dad right now until you're released,we just gotta sign some papers to have her in our custody." she nodded.
"the fuck?!" Ashton yelled as i shared a confused look with Thalia as i went out and gasped, "what the hell?!" Michael groaned, "the fuck is going on? did this son of a bitch make it seem like he killed everyone?"
"Luke what is it?" Thalia questioned me, i glanced back at her. "its Mason." she sobbed, "WHAT?!" i rushed over to her as soon as i saw her try and get out of bed, "baby stay in your bed, they gotta treat his wounds first." she sobbed, "how is he alive? we saw him kill him." i shook my head, "no we saw them fight him, but not the guy actually killing them." she sobbed harder, "he's alive? im gonna kill my brother!" i chuckled, "i'll help." she cried as i kissed her head, "you'll see Evie and Mason soon angel."
