Wicked Witch

There have been reports of a local cottage in the woods. locals won't go near it so it was a good place to start looking for the kids.

Me and my siblings were in the woods walking towards the cottage that the mayor told us about. "I want everybody watching each other's backs," I said. "Why do you always do that," Hansel asked me. "Do what?" I asked confused. "You know treat us like we're kids," he said. "Hansel," Gretel said giving my brother a look. "It's alright Gretel you're right Hansel and I'm sorry but you two cant heal like me," I said. "Well than-" "Shh," I said. "What's wrong," Gretel asked. "She's here, she's very close, and she is definitely a witch," I said catching her scent "showtime," Hansel said smiling. "All right let's go Hansel and Lobo get to your hideouts," Gretel said. We all gave each other or nod before going our separate ways. Gretel went to the door first and kicked it open. I tilted my head and started listening in. I heard the sound of arrows flying through the air and a long bang. Just then the witch flew past me on her broom. I simply shook my head and smiled. "I love when they run," I said before flashing my eyes. I then proceeded to run on all fours while following her scent. And in under a minute I was on her tail. I was about to leap into the air and stop her when hansel shot her off of her broom. She crashed and fell off the broom. I stood by my brother while he smirked at me. I rolled my eyes and picked up her broom off the ground. She looked at me and glared before I smirked and broke her broomstick in half. She scurried away and Hansel started taking shots at her. I ran after with my claws out. She ran down a hill and I laughed when I saw my brother falling down it like an idiot. I simply jumped over him and started running again.

As we were chasing her I kept having to dodge out of the way of the incoming blast of dark magic. I would hear shots from Hansel's gun fly over my head. She tried blocking us with a wall of branches, but I simply smash through it and growled. We climbed up a fallen tree. And while we were in the air I tackled her and we both tumbled down to the hard ground. I fell into a tree and groaned in pain. the witch had sprung up to her feet and pulled out a knife from her pocket. She was about to stab me in my eye when Gretel came slamming into her side. She grabbed Gretel by the jaw and threw her a few feet away. Hansel came from behind her and pointed his gun. But before he fir a shot off she smacked it away, Hansel dodged her fist until she finally punched him into a tree. I got to my feet and she tried punching me but I dodged and delivered a punch to her stomach knocking her back 20 ft. I felt the hair on my cheeks grow and my teeth come in. I roared at her and ran over to her. As she tried to get up I kicked her and her stomach flinging her away. She got back up and tried to charge me but I use my strength to lift her and slam her back onto a log breaking it. She got back up to her feet and tried to run but Gretel was in her way. Gretel gave her two powerful punches across the face before the witch finally blocked and slammed her onto the ground. Hansel grabbed her from behind and smiled. But his smiles soon faded when she used his momentum against him and flipped him over her shoulder. She looked at me and started to run again.

 "Gretel" I shouted. And my sister fired an arrow with a string attached and it pierced the witch's ankle. She threw her crossbow over a tree branch and posted her weapon and pulled on the string until the witch was hosted in the air unable to get out of the trap. She tried to go for her wand but Hansel snatched it away. We all joined together and looked at the witch. I looked at my sister's face and saw she was bleeding from her lip. "You okay," I said sincerely. "Yeah I'm fine," she said. "I'm all right too," Hansel said dramatically. "I knew you were all right that's why I didn't ask you" I huffed. We looked at the witch to see she was still throwing a fit while failing her arms. "She looks angry," Gretel said "With a face like that I would be angry too," Hansel said making us all laugh. our good time was interrupted when we heard another loud snarl come from the witch. "Would you shut the hell up?" I said punching her in the face knocking her out.

Once we had everything wrapped up with the witch we went back to town to inform the Mayor what happened. "That wish we found is it better mayor no trace of any kids I'm sorry," I said. "But we found this" Gretel said showing the mayor a picture we found in the witch's possession. She showed him the evidence and pointed to the red moon on the paper. "It's called a blood moon an eclipse of the moon it happens once generation". "And also a night most holy to witches" Hansel added. "Oh my God," the mayor said in disbelief. "When," he asked looking at us. "According to this three nights from now," I said. "There's no doubt in my mind that all this is connected, the children getting taken in these numbers from the roads and fields so close to town," Hansel said looking through the different papers. "I witch doesn't come out into the open like that, not unless she has to," I said. Hansel's timer on his wrist went off and he cut it off and reset it before walking over to his back and pulling out his medicine. "Witch activity has been increasing lately more sightings animal slaughter Sabbaths, it seems the coming of the Blood Moon their dark hiding place," Gretel said washing her hands. After Hansel got done injecting his medicine he walked back over to us.

"So it seems like a good thing that you brought us here doesn't it mayor" the mayor reached into his side pocket and pulled out a yellow envelope and tossed it to me. "Half your money now the rest when the children are brought back alive," he said. I was counting the money when there was a knock at the door "Ah right on time" the mayor said. A man walked inside and nodded to the three of us. "This is Jackson he knows these woods inside and out and he'll take you to where the last sightings were," the mayor said. "Yeah, we can be there in a few hours," He said. "no," I said coldly. "excuse me," He said taking a step forward. I growled and flashed my eyes. We were about to be at each other's throats or more like me at his When Gretel stepped in between us. "What my Protective big brother means is that is too dangerous to go at night time we'll leave in the morning," she said. "Yeah she's right it's much too dangerous" Hansel added. There was a pause and I just sighed. "So any place we can get drunk in this hell hole," I asked.
