The concert. The show that would be Takagi's official birthday present, since a ticket that doesn't do anything would be a bit of a lame present. They would take the train into Tokyo and arrive at 5 o'clock, head to their hotel, and then go to the venue at 7 the next day. They were going to Takagi's favourite band, Constellation. Nishikata had first heard of them at the tree at the end of the map they found in middle school. He wasn't majorly hooked, but he listened to them now and again. He could tell Takagi was really excited, as she mainly stayed quiet, not teasing him once, just fidgeting on her way to the concert the next day. They arrived at the hotel and booked in. They had dinner at a nearby resteraunt and Takagi said,
TAKAGI: "This food is so good!"
NISHIKATA: "Yeah, but not better than yours."
TAKAGI: "You mean that?" *blushes slightly*
NISHIKATA: "Of course." *blushes*
[Awkward silence]
NISHIKATA: "Anyway, when we get home we should get ready for the concert."
TAKAGI: "Okay. Thank you for these tickets, you're the best boyfriend ever!"
NISHIKATA: "Your welcome." (boyfriend, she doesn't use that one often, but she's not wrong, it's just another name)
TAKAGI: (Hmm, he didn't blush. I'm going to have to try harder, after all, I wouldn't be the Takagi he fell in love with if I didn't tease him!) *gets up, kisses him on the cheek* "Let's go."
NISHIKATA: *slight blush* "Um, s- sure."
TAKAGI: "There you go!" *giggles*
NISHIKATA: "Wait, What? Takagi!"
They arrived at there room, and decided to watch a movie. Takagi chose it, so it was a cheesy romantic movie, naturally. Nishikata blushed non stop since the first moment of romance, and it only got worse when Takagi leaned on his shoulder. He calmed himself down by thinking things like,
NISHIKATA: (Come on man, you've held yourself together when you've kissed, you know you can not blush with Takagi being romantic, so just focus on not blushing because of the movie)
TAKAGI: "Watcha thinking about?"
NISHIKATA: "Nothing."
TAKAGI: "Okay." *yawns*
NISHIKATA: (No follow ups? She must be tired) "Takagi just go to sleep if you're tired."
TAKAGI: "Yeah I guess, plus I've watched the movie before."
NISHIKATA: "Wait, What?!"
